Born in East Central Indiana. Moved to Madison County, Indiana at age 10 and have lived in the northern part of Madison County 46 years. At an early age I would go with my grandparents to decorate graves for Memorial Day Weekend. I have been interested in cemeteries ever since.

Death certificates for James Worth and several others buried here state they were buried in IOOF Cem, Summitville but there is no IOOF Cem in Summitville. It may be there once was and it became part of Vinson Cem (the older part). I have checked with Historical Soc but have not heard back yet, they may not even be able to find out. But since so many people buried here have obits & death cert stating bur IOOF I assume it is true that an IOOF Cem bec part of Vinson Cem.

Frances (Marley) Merriwether
I believe France's maiden name is "Manley". I believe her father was James Manley born in Kentucky and her mother was Elizabeth Ann Cambell. Just curious where you pulled your source from? Also, I have James from Kentucky in all the census reports but his wife was all over so don't have confidence in her birth place. Let me know your thoughts or if I can be of any assistance.

Thanks for all you do with Find-A-Grave. I have seen your name many times.

Peter and Ezra Bear
Peter Bear #54484610 is the son of Ezra #54483769 and Priscilla French Bear.
This Peter F. Bear was age 31 when he died and age 12 in the 1850 Census. In the 1860 census Peter is married and has a wife and son Frank age 6/12 living in Fayette County Indiana next door to his aunt Milly Thatcher. Peter was born 12 March 1838 and died in 1870 at the age of 31.
Ezra's father was also Peter Bear married to Susannah Burchell and Rachel Robbins. This older Peter died in November 1845, but I do not know where he is buried.

Hi Starbuck - Thank you so much for all you do to honor the memory of our ancestors. It is very much appreciated by all of us who love Find a Grave.

I was hoping you'd be willing to transfer the memorial for Elizabeth to my care. She was my 2x and 3x great grandmother, twice over, and has an interesting story I'd like to help tell.

Thanks in advance for your consideration.

Frances Spradlin
Hello, I was wondering if you would be willing to transfer the ownership of the memorial for Frances Spradlin. She would have been my wife's 4th great grandmother. Thank you Sam De Luca
