Bio and Links
Bio Photo Before posting a message on my page of your outrage because I may disagree with your edit/suggest a correction, please take a moment to reacquaint yourself with what Find A Grave is about. Here's the excerpt from FAG found in the Help section:

What is Find A Grave?

Find a Grave's mission is to find, record and present final disposition information from around the world as a virtual cemetery experience.

Memorial contributions to Find A Grave must fulfill that mission - registration of the final disposition. If the memorial contribution corresponds with only the main mission, then the memorial fulfills its purpose as part of Find A Grave's mission.

Find a Grave memorials may contain rich content including pictures, biographies and more specific information. Members can leave remembrances via 'virtual flowers' on the memorials they visit, completing the virtual cemetery experience.

Find A Grave is a resource for anyone in finding the final disposition of family, friends, and 'famous' individuals.

Please know that I will not respond and will immediately delete inappropriate messages.

All photos added under my name on Find A Grave are protected by copyright. Any use without my express written permission is prohibited. That includes posting pictures to other web sites!

We have a wonderful 'Edit' tab on each memorial for any edits, links and/or information you would like added to a memorial. Only requests received in this manner will be reviewed and considered. Please note that I may include your name and contact information in the bio section so that others may contact you if they have questions.

Transfer Requests

Before requesting a transfer, review Find A Grave guidelines. If you qualify under these guidelines only, send your request using the 'edit' tab and include your exact relationship with the lineage to you. Please keep in mind that many memorials I've entered are relatives and, therefore, not subject to transfer.

Re: Carl Snyder 144476645
Thanks for letting me know about Carl's other memorial. I've written to Find-A-Grave and asked them to mark my memorial as a cenotaph. I've also placed a link to the other memorial in the bio section of my memorial.

Thanks for your input on Sally. I am not related to her, and only set up this memorial assisting someone else who had taken hundreds of headstone photos in this cemetery. If you are related, I would be glad to transfer it to you. I have noted your comments in this memorial.

Thanks for the information about her Missouri death certificate. I have added the information. At a guess the tombstone was created years later when her parents died.

Hi ---- Thanks for submitting the links. I never know whether to link persons that may have been divorced or if there is a rule about that. If you would like to manage Emeline's memorial, just let me know. I'm not related.

RE: Anseth Baptismal Records
I was able to edit these directly.

Theolina - birth day is 29, not 31
Olivia - birth year is 1877

These dates are from confirmation records, not baptism records (which I could not find).

If you have the baptism records, please let me know (and re-correct the dates, if needed.)

That is it for the first generation.

RE: Anseth Baptismal Records
Knudt is what started my search of baptism reccords. I found his in Nerstrand! Yea.

I now have a birth or baptism or confirmation record for all but Elise. Did you find one for her?

RE: Anseth Baptismal Records
I did find the Christianson records, too. The father's full name was Bernt Christianson Anseth.

We may have talked before, but it has been a while since I worked this side of the family.

I may have more similar corrections, but I haven't compared all the baptism records with the findagrave records yet.

I am a decendant of the Anseths. Anna Anseth was my great grandmother. I was lucky enough to meet her and we got a 4-generation picture with her. Are you also a descendant?

I have not found any records for Elisa - born and died in 1891. Is it possible she was not baptised?

Thank you for taking care of this family.
