Bio and Links
Bio Photo I was born in Riverside, Burlington County New Jersey and spent much of my first ten years there. My father died in WWII having never seen me. My step-father was in the Navy so we spent a lot of time traveling around. I graduated from high school at the Naval Base in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, joined the Navy in 1961, came out to California in 1963 and have been here ever since. I have been married twice, have three children and eleven grandchildren. My second wife Sandy and I have known each other since we were five years old and have been married since 2006. I have been doing my family genealogy since 2010 and a member of Find A Grave for over four years now.

I am interested in families in the Philadelphia and Burlington County, NJ areas with last names of Freck/Frech (originally from Germany mid 1800s), Broderson/Brodersen (Denmark), Stecher (originally from Germany mid 1800s) and Hirst, originally from England. Hirst were prominent in the cigar business in Philadelphia. Additionally, I am working on my wife's family, Wetherell and Goodwin in New Hampshire.

If you see a picture of a gravestone I have taken and want to use it, by all means copy it and use as needed. If you see a family members memorial that I have created and you would like to manage it, just ask.

Frederick Ferdinand Weed
Fred was originally buried in 498-2. The family bought 4 plots (1-4) and buried him there in 1913.
According to cemetery books his wife Eva Gaddie Weed was given the deeds to those plots. Then Eva remarried sometime before 1938. Eva's mother died in 1938. Sometime after her death the Weed, Schultz and Gaddie crypt was built. Mother Lucinda Gaddie was interned here in 1086 - 4. Fred was moved from 498-2 in 1940 and re interned in 1086-3. Eva's 2nd husband William John Schultz died in 1945 and was interned in 1086-5. When Eva died in 1946she was interned in 1086-2.
Jose told me that he would check the plate on Fred's crypt for his death date.
This all came to lite when I was contacted by a Confederate veterans group in Missouri who wanted to place a marker on his unmarked grave. They wanted to know if there were any living relatives.
Fred had 2 children, 9 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. So there is a possibility
that someone is still living.

Hi Dean,
Saw the photo that you took of her headstone, by any chance was there a Elmer Kenneth Witcher buried next to her. He is her husband. Thank you for the photo, going to use on my Ancestry.com tree, I will add a message of the photo coming from you.
Thank you once again, Karen

Hi Dean,

I added Isaac's wife, Susan later. I did't see any others, but I'll be back to Proprietor's within a couple of weeks, and I'll check for you.

Seibert surname
Thanks for reply. I have birth/death info on Boettler but he does not seem to be listed on Find A Grave. Do you know where he is buried and anything about their daughter, Pamela. June and Boettler divorced in 1976 and he died 3 years later. That is all the info.

Seibert surnames
I see that you have listed several with the surname of Seibert. I'm searching for any information on Boettler Seibert. He was the son of Arthur & Amy Seibert. Perhaps you were unaware of him. He married into my husband's line. Thanks much.

RE: Hirst
Hillside is a very dizzing place, despite all the time I spend there I am still trying to find my way around. I'd say about 3/4 of it I haven't even walked through!

Plus, it's difficult to tell where the sections are. I have a map, but that doesn't help. There are no signs, no border indications so you never know when you've crossed from one section to the other.

Please leave your photo request up there (don't depend on me). There are other who also photo in here, others who know the sections better than I so somebody else may get to your request before I do.

Dear Dean, Thank-you very much for fulfilling my photo request. I am handicapped so walking cemeteries is something I can't do. I am truly grateful for your willingness to walk them for me and so many others. I also appreciate your generosity with your MANY photos. You are why I love Find A Grave! Thank-you again, Joni

Requests
Dean -

I want you to know I am not ignoring your requests for changes. I recently had surgery and I'm not recovering very well. When I am feeling better I will make the changes. Thanks for your understanding.

Cheers - Kathie
