Bio Photo Hello I've been researching my family genealogy for the last 18 years. And in doing so, I've walked through many cemeteries. I love cemeteries, I always have, they're peaceful and full of history. During the day, they are rather park like. And at night they can be eerie. I especially like old cemeteries, and I like to take walks through them and read tombstones. If you find that you are searching any of the surnames, please feel free to contact me.

It would be beneficial if you called the office and got a plot number and grave.

RE: Elmer W. Trump
I don't know anything about his family. I met Elmer when he was a client at Goodwill Industries. He was such a sweet man. When he passed, I did his memorial. That's all I know about him.

re: John Martin of Bucks Co., PA
Hi Mary Beth,

I was very pleased to find your info posted on findagrave re: Civil War Veteran John Martin of Bucks County, PA.
He was my 3rd great-grandfather. His son, William H. Martin, was my 2nd great-grandfather.
When I search for Civil War information about our John Martin in ancestry.com, many John Martin's appear.
Do you have any recommended resources which show his military service?

Thank you for your assistance,
Fred Howard

Mary Beth;

How did you come across Anders Sorensen's grave?

He is my great grandfather.

RE: Mitchel Joseph Fortier
Marybeth, Sorry I am so long getting back to you but Mitchel Joseph Fortier was my great uncle. He is the one who was a patient at Worcester State Hospital. His father, my great grandfather was also Mitchel. Mitchel Joseph the son, was in Worcester State for most of his life. He never married and never had any children which means your friend and I share the same great grandfather. Please feel free to give my email address to her/him. I may already know him/her. Once I found my great uncles records I had to file with the Worc. Superior Court to become his executor. Once I was given that honor I was able to get all of his records from Worcester State Hospital. Those records contained one small picture of Mitchel Joseph which I have posted. Since then I worked with the State Hospital to find out the exact location of his grave and purchased a grave marker and had it installed. Again please forward my email address to your friend. I would love to reach out to them. Thanks Betty Enman Therrien

RE: Sarah Childs
Milestown M.E. Cemetery (now known as Oaklane). I am looking for gravestone for Sarah Ann Childs who died in 1837 either in Bristol, Phila Co, or Milestown, PA. Her father Joseph Childs may be buried there with her.
Thank you for looking for me. Please let me know if you find these graves. I have no idea of section or grave numbers.

RE: Milestown M.E. Cemetery
Hi Mary Beth...I don't know if you saw my last reply. I looked through the PGS article on Milestown Cemetery and found the listing of your 4x grandparents: Samuel Farris, 1800-1879, and "Maria, wife of Samuel, 1806-1873". I also noticed "Caroline D., wife of George Farris, born December 25, 1828 and died February 23, 1897". I'm not sure if Caroline is connected to the first two Farrises. You can reach me at rpike09@yahoo.com if you want more onfo. on my Milestown research.

RE: Milestown M.E. Cemetery
Hi Mary Beth,

I have at least 31 members of my family tree resting at Milestown...the Penn Gen Soc had an article listed in their magazine in 2001 that detailed the burials at Milestown but only identified 12 names on headstones of the 31 I/D'd do far. I believe my 3x great grandfather Thomas Lister was an early founder of that church and other members of his wife's (Rachel Buck)family helped to build that church. Thomas, Rachel, and 7 of their 10 children are buried there...the others I have identified are the families of Rachel's sisters, Sarah and Elizabeth Buck. I would be happy to give you (or anyone else interested) the details of my research on Milestown. You can reach me DIRECTLY at rpike09@yahoo.com. I welcome all inquiries related to family research as it is one of my passions. Thank you for your interest.
Robert
