Bio and Links
Bio Photo This site serves as a database so that present and future generations can find those they seek. It is used by professional genealogists, as well as amateurs, and is owned by Ancestry.com. If you've used Ancestry and found a link to Find A Grave, it is because of the work of many volunteers who pursue this endeavor with an earnest regard to preserve history for future generations. I was able to trace our family back 13 generations in America (arriving in 1633) with the aid of Ancestry and those who contribute to this site, and it is my desire to "pay it forward" by doing the same for others.

Please keep in mind that this pursuit is completely done by VOLUNTEERS who spend countless hours in this dedicated effort. There is no need to feel offended if you find your relatives listed by a contributor, for that is the purpose of this site (after all, isn't that why you have come here?).

Please feel free to ask for a transfer if you find one of your relatives posted here by me (or any other contributor). Most folks will gladly transfer relatives to family members. Please state your relationship to the person in the listing and use the edit tab on the memorial to request the transfer. If you don't wish to manage the memorial, I will gladly add any biographical information you would like.

My primary focus at present lies in photo-documenting the final resting places veterans. I once found a poem written on a memorial for a young soldier and it stays with me. I believe it was originally from a speech at the conclusion of the Civil War. In part: "Nor shall your glory be forgot while Fame her record keeps; for honor marks the hallowed spot where valor proudly sleeps". I am privileged to preserve these markers for future generations.

History is made every day.

Ernest Zimmerman's memorial
Hi: I wonder where my brains were the day I entered Mr. Zimmerman's memorial. The bio. DEFINITELY states his date of death as October, but I screwed it up.
I always appreciate updates.
Take care.

Wrong photo posted on memorial
Hello.
First of all, thanks so much for all the wonderful work you do on FindAGrave! It is definitely appreciated.
Regarding the memorial for Frank J. Fischbach, III (see memorial #21079137), you've accidentally posted the wrong headstone photo. The photo you've posted there is actually for his father, Frank Jr. (If you follow the family-link to his father's memorial, you can see the dates match and in fact you've posted the same photo there, too). Can you please delete the photo from the son Frank III's page? (If you have the correct photo for Frank III in your files somewhere, please feel free to post).
Thanks very much!
Sincerely,
John

I am not sure about Josephine Diblasi, she was my Great Aunt, I do not have any info on her, I just thought she might have been there, I am going to look for her Obit. Thanks
