Bio and Links
Bio Photo This site serves as a database so that present and future generations can find those they seek. It is used by professional genealogists, as well as amateurs, and is owned by If you've used Ancestry and found a link to Find A Grave, it is because of the work of many volunteers who pursue this endeavor with an earnest regard to preserve history for future generations. I was able to trace our family back 13 generations in America (arriving in 1633) with the aid of Ancestry and those who contribute to this site, and it is my desire to "pay it forward" by doing the same for others.

Please keep in mind that this pursuit is completely done by VOLUNTEERS who spend countless hours in this dedicated effort. There is no need to feel offended if you find your relatives listed by a contributor, for that is the purpose of this site (after all, isn't that why you have come here?).

Please feel free to ask for a transfer if you find one of your relatives posted here by me (or any other contributor). Most folks will gladly transfer relatives to family members. Please state your relationship to the person in the listing and use the edit tab on the memorial to request the transfer. If you don't wish to manage the memorial, I will gladly add any biographical information you would like.

My primary focus at present lies in photo-documenting the final resting places veterans. I once found a poem written on a memorial for a young soldier and it stays with me. I believe it was originally from a speech at the conclusion of the Civil War. In part: "Nor shall your glory be forgot while Fame her record keeps; for honor marks the hallowed spot where valor proudly sleeps". I am privileged to preserve these markers for future generations.

History is made every day.

I have learned to go with a backup list or redo list. I too stay away from the area the mowers are zooming along on. I started V as I have family in that section and it was already mowed so little chance of being run down. This humidity has slowed me down but slowly but surely the Project will get done. Thanks for the heads up on the ones done and all your help.

To the best of my knowledge, they are buried in the Berlin Cemetery at 40 Clementon Rd. I have 2 locations for their possible burial site. Can you help me?? The first site is tract 1, section 5, row 18 in the older section. The second info I have from years ago and I don't know the source, says they are in section 16, lot 1. Would you be able to tell me where they are??? Charlotte Henry Hughes

What a nice surprise to see so many of section X have photos added. Thank you for doing this. I thought I had a long way to go with requests at Beverly but you and Angel have quietly diminished my list quite a bit.

RE: Doyle Section N Update
Thanks for the update. Unfortunately, the only one I have is 1858 119686517. Most are 5 digits. Have a good week and thanks for helping out at Beverly.

Thank you so much for taking the time to create a memorial for Jimmie and also for taking the photo of his marker. He was more than a cousin to me when I was a little girl, as he would always defend me against bullies and teasing. He was eight years my senior so nobody wanted to butt heads with him!

Now I've finally be able to say goodbye.
