I've loved genealogy and searching through cemeteries since I was a little girl. Now I drag my own little girls along with me as I search and imagine the stories of those who lived before.|
I've appreciated the help I've received from so many as I searched for my husband's family in Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Texas and so I started volunteering at the cemeteries surrounding me in Idaho. I love linking families together.
For those needing help with the Oakley cemetery: We had some problems with information and are trying to get it corrected. Please contact me if you find wrong dates or duplicate memorials. Thanks for your patience.

Wondering about the Oakley cemetery. Are there any sections of it that have not been photographed? Has it ever been photographed row by row or section by section? Are there only recent headstones left to be photographed? Sorry for all the questions. Yesterday was my first visit there. I would be happy to help with this cemetery or I can leave it to you.

Yes! I posted it to both Milton and spouse.
Thanks for your kind service in taking the photographs of the Oakley cemetery.

Hello... I just wanted to thank you so very much for posting all of this information. I am one of the granddaughters of Jannie. I didn't even know she had a sister. I am so happy to find out information abut my family.

Thank you responding so quickly. I'll try to get this right.
Frances E. "Fannie" Monroe was the daughter of C. Granville Monroe, listed as C. G. Monroe (memorial # 30637343) in King Cem., Peter Pender, Franklin Co., AR and Sarah Jayne (don't know her maiden name) listed as Jayne Monroe (memorial # 30413064).
Someone has listed Jayne's father as Milton M. Monroe (memorial # 30637286).
This is incorrect. Milton is the father of C. Granville Monroe, and is Jayne's father-in-law.
Thank you for any help you can give to straighten this out.

In Feb. you sent me a note about Faye and her husband being at Floral Haven Cemetery in Broken Arrow, Ok. I have checked this out and they state that there is no one named Faye McClure Smith at the cememtery. There is a Claude Smith but wife is not Faye. I did take a picture of Claude and his wife if you would like me to send it to you. Maybe it's her middle name. I don't really know. Let me know what you want me to do. Thanks Joanne.

not a problem. I added a couple McClure's that were also located by the ones you requested. I would imagine they are connected somehow. If you need any others just let me know I will be glad to search Hillside and any other surrounding areas. Thanks for your time and effort also in Find a Grave.
