I love to do genealogical research & photography, so becoming a volunteer photographer here was a natural choice. My own family names include Urquhart, Howland/Tilley, Alden/Mullens, Post, Collins, Whitney, etc.|
**For those with Island ancestors or relatives, I recommend: http://history.vineyard.net/gene.htm as well as the "Martha's Vineyard Antique Photos" Facebook page, and the M.V. Museum and the M.V. Historical Society** Another one is the "Martha's Vineyard Antique Photos" page on Facebook which posts wonderful photos!
If I create a memorial for your ancestor and you'd like it transferred to you, (and it isn't one of my ancestors) I am generally happy to oblige. However, if I email you extra photos and you upload them to new or existing memorials, please note that I'm the photographer.
I am so grateful to others who have created memorials for my family, taken photos, etc.
P.S. I recommend this online date calculator tool:
If you have the date of death and the yr./mo./days of age, you can easily calculate the birth date.

|Libby901||Thomas Lovejoy (1490-1573)|
I've seen that you left a candle image for the above on 9 November 2014 and put that he was a 14th Great Grandfather. This happens to be the same relationship as I have to Thomas Lovejoy.

|Jacki, Weymouth Massachusetts||Cremations|
I think it is good to let the family know of the cremations at Mount Auburn, they sometimes do forward the ashes to cemeteries, and they keep the record. Not much they can do when a family member receives them, but they do have some info.
|Jacki, Weymouth Massachusetts||LeSeur Thornton & Marj (Post) Collins|
Thanks for the heads up. I don't normally enter these later dates, but I was on search of the Collins family that came from the South to the North. I thought I had a lead when I saw that they died at Newton, but this family turned out to be entirely different than the family I was searching for. Sorry about that. Jacki

Many thanks for the grave location for the above individual in Portland's Eastern Cemetery. I'm pleased to see that reference.
|Bill Bourbeau||RE: Ruth Frances Derby, Carrol Nathan Whitney!|
I've made the transfers to you, as I am not related.
I'm not sure which graves you are asking about at the end of your message. (?)
