OBIT STATUS 02/02/14:|
Brenham - 1 requester w/ many obits
Houston - 1 request
I currently live in Brenham, TX. I have ties in the Lubbock area, where I am more or less "from". My family tree extends to many parts of Texas and the US South. My ancestry is predominantly English.
My husband Robert and my best friend Chris frequently accompany me to the cemeteries and help me out tremendously, so much of the work that is done on this account is as much theirs as it is mine. :)
CORRECTIONS & TRANSFERS
Please click the "Edit" tab on the individual memorial, then use the fields available to request changes, or to ask for a transfer.
If you are asking for a TRANSFER, please state briefly your relationship to the deceased in the request. I am not terribly particular on how closely you are related, be it directly, distantly, or as a family friend -- I am happy to transfer to anyone who has more knowledge of the person and is willing to maintain the memorial. I am also willing to transfer any memorials that I maintain that were originally created by a member who is now inactive/banned/etc. (I usually only have these because they needed major maintenance under the old system).
PLEASE DO NOT SEND CORRECTIONS OR TRANSFER REQUESTS THROUGH DIRECT EMAILS OR PUBLIC MESSAGES
You must provide me with specific names and dates. PLEASE SEND OBIT REQUESTS AS E-MAILS. The following newspapers are available to me:

|Jeff Barnett||RE: Ruthie Mae Braziell Mackey|
I'm sorry it was not easy to see. It was very hard to make out letters, because they seemed to be carved or scraped in there by hand by someone who was not a professional. It was also well worn. But I could just make out Most of the Braziell and Mackey last names, although the cemetery records show a different spelling for Braziell. They have it as Braizell. Interestingly, in the faint carvings of letters on the headstone, I thought I could even see an "e" after the double-L of that name as well (Braizelle).
|Julie Carr||Thank You|
Thanks, for posting the information about my dad on Find A Grave. I have been doing a little ancestory investagating and I have found some ancestors on this site. I am glad my dad is now on there for other people to visit.
Thank you so much for adding my precious grandmothers grave to this site. I was so happy to find it here. She was the
Sweetest person in the whole world. A blessing to all that knew her. I am sure you must be a lot like her

Glad you are pleased with the photos.
There are additional Adams buried there -

Josie 1889 - 1979
Lillian M 1920 - 1974
unknown 9 April 1930 - 9 April 1930 - Comments show that this child was a boy and parents were Claude Adams and Josie Cranfill.
I will post these when I get home in Alabama. Do you have any interest in any of the above?

Thank you for the photos you added to the memorial for David Lee Johnson. Between the two of us I hope we have created a memorial his family will be pleased with.

Thank you. Sterling and Fanny with the parents of Evelyn. but they also had a son Robert who died also around that time. I wonder if he is buried with Evelyn or close by.
