Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am a U.S. Navy Veteran with a tour of duty in Cam Rahn Bay, Vietnam. I was assigned to VP-48 which was home based at NAS Moffett Field CA. I worked on and flew in the P-3A Orion. I am married and have two children, nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild. I am a retired letter carrier from the U.S. Postal Service. I am a member of the American Legion, the American Legion Riders and the Patriot Guard (I ride a Harley). I am a volunteer firefighter and a member of the Ruritan Club.
I really enjoy being a volunteer for F-A-G. You can use my photos on your personal family trees all you want. All I ask, is that if you publish them in print anywhere, please give me credit for the photo. I keep the original full-sized photos on file and will be happy to email them to you if you need them rather than copying them from F-A-G. I welcome all contacts, corrections and updates. I will be happy to transfer memorials to family members. For marker photos I will clear soil and grass with a whisk broom to make it clear and readable. Also, I consider it my honor to repair and/or reset the flags of our Veterans.

Thank You
Hi Jimmy,

I am the granddaughter of Joseph Eller, a U.S. Army Air Veteran that you posted a picture of. I can't thank you enough for doing this. I'm not sure if someone asked you to, or if you just noticed it was a new plot. Whatever the reason, I want you to know that I appreciate it. I miss them both very much.

Thank you,

RE: Helen Bryce Feamster Thompson
I was perfectly fine with deleting my memorial in favor of yours. I really don't care about numbers, I do this to see that the cemeteries are recorded and photographed so they can be preserved for future generations. You had all the information on the memorial you made, so it just made sense to me for it to be the one to remain. And as I said before, it's not as if you intentionally made a duplicate of an existing memorial. It happened because I didn't have her full name. Even if you searched the database before adding your memorial, mine wouldn't have shown under her full name, so how could you have known at the time that mine even existed. That was my error, not yours. :)

Helen Bryce Feamster Thompson

I just got an email from another contributor letting me know that there were two memorials for this woman. I had made one back in 2009, but had made the memorial under the name that appeared on the stone "Bryce Feamster Thompson." For some reason, her first name didn't appear on the stone. Since your memorial has her listed by her full name and includes obituary and family link information, I am deleting my older one and have uploaded the photo of her stone to the memorial you created.

RE: Grace Laxton Boughman
Thank you, Jimmy, for the offer to transfer management of the memorial of Grace to me, but I don't see the need for that. Grace may be related to me on the Laxton side of the family, but she would be a distant cousin. I am more closely related to her husband. Thanks again for all of your help!

RE: Grace Laxton
Hi Jimmy,

Thanks for the quick response. There is something crazy going on with the memorials right now. Maybe Find A Grave is attempting to merge them. The links I have in my tree data are not working, but I can go to the cemetery and find the memorials! Except the one for Grace Laxton Boughman and maybe the creator deleted that one. I sent her some info as well.

I have a copy of the obit of Grace and her surname was Boughman at the time of death. Laxton was her maiden name. I'll get back to you when I can get this sorted out. Thanks again for your prompt reply.
