I am a U.S. Navy Veteran with a tour of duty in Cam Ranh Bay, Vietnam. I was assigned to VP-48 which was home based at NAS Moffett Field CA. I worked on and flew in the P-3A Orion. I am married and have two children, nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. I am a retired letter carrier from the U.S. Postal Service. I am a member of the American Legion and I am a volunteer firefighter.|
I really enjoy being a volunteer for F-A-G. You can use my photos on your personal family trees all you want. All I ask, is that if you publish them in print anywhere, please give me credit for the photo. I keep the original full-sized photos on file and will be happy to email them to you if you need them rather than copying them from F-A-G. I welcome all contacts, corrections and updates. I will be happy to transfer memorials to family members. I consider it my honor to repair and/or reset the flags placed on the graves of our Veterans.

|Eleanor Morrison Lawson||Thanks|
I would just like to say "thanks for all you do for Find a Grave" It really means a lot to people like me who can no longer do these things and am so glad to take advantage of using them. My son also retired from postal service so I know your retirement was well earned.
Thanks for your voluntary service to others.

Hey Jimmy - Thanks for letting me manage my Mom's grave. You are so right about living out of state and being able to visit your parent's grave any time through Find-A-Grave. I sincerely thank you and appreciate your help.

Hey Jimmy, I was requesting that my mother's grave be transferred into my care. Mom was a wonder person and I would be so honored to have her grave site be part of my care. I live in Atlanta and don't get home often but Google Maps her so I can "visit" the grave often. Thanks for considering my request.
thank you so much for the flowers you left for my grandfather!!! when I saw this it brought tear to my eyes !!! I put flowers on my grandmother's grave for every occasion I didn't know how to get to my grandfather's grave thank you for that!!!

Hi, I was wondering if you know the parents of Earlene and 130371223 are. Thanks.

You can change the dates.
|Linda Stovall||Elizabeth Stovall Poole|
Mary is not the first name. She was Elizabeth Stovall Poole. Daughter of John and Dorcas Stovall, Sr. I realized the headstone dates cannot be corrected, but she was dead by 3 Feb 1832. I have the documentation if it is needed.
Also her husband William Poole - is the correct name "taylor" was used to distinguish him from his contemporary in Spartanburg County and District, William Poole "ironmaster" who operated a forge.
William died 13 Oct 1816. The citation was issued to his son James Poole to administer the estate of his father 6 Jan 1817, who was deceased.

should be "from" the war, not "form". Sorry or the typo. JHC
