I am a second generation native of California, but my roots go deep into New England via the Midwest and Great Plains. (Genealogy and family history figure large in my interests.)|
I grew up with a view of Glen Abbey Memorial Park, and my siblings and I roamed its grounds when we could. Although none of my family is buried there, I feel a kind of ownership of that place!
I like to take multiple photos in Glen Abbey Memorial Park, to give a feel for the place where people are buried. If I have posted more photographs than you would prefer on a memorial of one of your loved ones, let me know your preferences. On the other hand, if I have only posted a photo of the marker and you would like something more, let me know that, and I will take more photos or add something I already have for that area of the cemetery.
You may contact me at jfgilman at gmail or by a message here.

Many thanks for the lovely photos. Can't seem to get to Bonita often. I appreciate the suggestion to rearrange pics, just put up what I had on hand. Thank you again.

I didn't realize that the memorials for Evelyn Nelson and her husband were duplicates. You're starting to wonder how many of my memorials are duplicates? Why do you care? Maybe you should focus on your memorials instead of getting into mine and trying to figure out which ones are duplicates. Have a nice day.

Listen, A number of years ago some one from findagrave got the picture of Evelyn's stone for me. Last month I had my old findagrave.com account deleted so that I could start create my memorials again. It was so long ago that the picture of Evelyn's stone was sent to me. I have idea who took it. FYI people have used my photos without asking me. Then I find my pictures on other websites. That's not right. As a rule I make every effort to ask people if they mind if I use their photos. Because I couldn't remember exactly who took the picture of Evelyn's stone I didn't know who to ask. I don't make it a habit to claim that other people's photos are mine!! The bottom line is that I'm going to delete the picture of the stone for Evelyn that you say that you took. I'll request another picture of the stone.

When I was creating Frederick's memorial I didn't think I had a picture of his stone. I requested one. Upon going to ancestry.com I noticed that I had a picture of his stone. Thank you for making me aware of the fact that I still have a request for a photo of Frederick's stone.

Thank you Jane! You truly went way out of your way, above and beyond - to find my GG Uncle's grave, marking them with beautiful yellow flowers. Amazing! The entire family thanks you.
