I am a retired veteran and genealogist. I work on Fort Knox so I have opportunities to visit some cemeteries on post and in Hardin County, KY.

Thank you for sharing your photos of gravestones in Saint Martin Cemetery in Flaherty, Kentucky. Could I have your permission to add several of your photos to my Ancestry.com family tree? I would credit the photos as used with your permission.
Thank you for your time. jos1234 (#47623833)

I was wondering if Pleasant View Cemetery is open to the public? My ftaher recalls going to Ft. Know many years ago and the family had to get permission to go into a cemetery on Ft. Know land. Is that another cemetery near by? Iam related to Richard DeWitt FYI.

James. Yes, Eli Bogard was Albin's father. I did not realize there was a Bogard cemetery in Ft. Knox. Can you tell me how to get to it. I live in Minnesota but will be in KY at Thanksgiving to visit my siblings. Thanks for you help.

Also, my grandparents lived in the house next to the church from the time they had to leave the reservation until he moved in with us in the 60's. My dad was a deacon at the church for several years.

Thank you very much.
|Roger Ripley||RE: Margeria Smith Johnson|
I would be glad to have her site transferred to me. I feel the message you left on the site regarding the birth year is very appropriate. As you indicate, errors can occur any many different places. Margeria was married prior to the marriage indicated and it was in 1887 to George Massey. From that marriage, there were two children. Had the tombstone been correct, she would have been only 10 years old and very doubtful. At a birth year of 1871, she would have been age 16 and more typical of marriages in that era. Thanks. Roger
