I have been researching my family history for 40+ years now. I started out trying to confirm family history stories for my grandchildren. Now I have an insatiable curiosity for family history. I love the feeling I get helping others find information on their families. When I was little my mom passed from breast cancer & I was told that "no one really dies as long as there is a single person that remembers them." Well I am putting skin on those bone so my grandchildren will remember all those that they never had a chance to meet personally.

I welcome any corrections to the memorials I place on Find A Grave but please use the edit link, not as a public message as those will be deleted. ☥☥☥☥☥☥☥☥☥☥☥☥☥☥☥☥☥☥☥☥☥ Please, if you place memorials on Find A Grave make sure you check to see if there is not already one created for that person. I triple check all the memorials I list on Find A Grave before I add them to a cemetery, please don't ask me to delete mine because you did sloppy work, or wanted one of your own. The only way I will remove mine is if yours was posted date is before mine! ☥☥☥☥☥☥☥☥☥☥☥☥☥☥☥☥☥☥☥☥☥ If you take a photo of a memorial, please make sure the dates are clear. If they are not clear, Please, retake it, do a rubbing or buy yourself a photo program and learn how to use it. ☥☥☥☥☥☥☥☥☥☥☥☥☥☥☥☥☥☥☥☥☥ Lastly, I DO NOT transfer my family members to anyone else, but will be more than happy to honor transfer request for non-family members. Please state your relationship to the person you'd like transferred.
Jack Elam I no longer can edit anything on Mr. Elam. I created it 1st, some one else did the bio. And if you will look at the bottom of the page it says Maintained by Find A Grave. I can't change anything. You have to contact Find A Grave. I would gladly transfer it but it doesn't belong to me anymore. Thanks GQ of the OC.
McGaughey Hello! I am about to fulfill your photo requests but unfortunately, it is a photo of the area, only. Their graves are unmarked. There is a very slight possibility that they are buried under the sod, but if they are, they are very deep because I probed around and couldn't find anything. However, in the same location where they are buried, I did find Stella McGaughey, whom I believe must be there daughter. Her headstone is the one in the center of the photo. As you will see, there is quite a bit of empty space around her marker.
I wish this could have been a more positive outcome. I am always disappointed when there is no marker.
Knobloch obits Here is a site I found useful in the past & think it might help you too, free SF obituaries. Hopefully getting Cassie's & Basil's obits will tell you where they are buried. They are not buried in Fresno's Calvary, Mountain View, or Belmont Memorial Park cemeteries.
Cassie & Basil Knobloch They are not buried in Calvary Cemetery or any of the other Catholic cemeteries. I checked the online list of burials & called the office too. They are not listed in Mountain View Cemetery's records either, the only Knoblochs are Basil's parents & 3 siblings which are in the Central tract, blk 12 (listed incorrectly as in Calvary which is near by). Do you have any other reason to think they are buried in Fresno??? What about the Bay area? Have you tried getting obituaries for them to see if their place of burial is given? Please let me know. Thanks!
Temple Hill Cemetery Hi, I saw you were looking for a photo from Temple Hill Cemetery in Geneseo, NY; they have a great website with interment database and many photos uploaded. Check it out here: http://www.templehillcemetery.com/name.asp?ID=2740
Alta & Millicent Mithen photos Hello Claudia, You requested photos of the markers for Alta & Millicent Mithen who are buried in Acacia Memorial Cemetery in Modesto, Calif. These folks are buried side by side and unfortunately only one grave has a stone. I am uploading photos with explanations so there is a written story along with the photos.
I wish the outcome would have been better, Best regards, Larry Tally
