birth place of Littleton Hurst
Hi Candy, In looking at the civil war records for Littleton's birth place again I think it is Suwanee City (not county) and that is in Gwinnett County, GA. Found an 1830 census in Gwinnett for Simon Hurst with a child the age Littleton would have been and then again in 1840 Warren County, GA. Also found Anna Hurst in 1850 Warren that I believe is his mother. See what you think.

James Simms
You asked that I add the name Merrell to James Simms. I cannot do this as this information is incorrect. It got on the internet somwhow through someone doing shoddy research and has grown like a bad weed. Merrell Simms IS NOT James Simms. I have the baptismal records of two of his sons stating his wife's name and also his military records, marriage record and his will. This is NOT the same person.

RE: Moon Edits
Eric and Candy,

I will get photos this winter. The cemetery is in the woods and the light is better when the leaves are down.--Storres

Senator Abraham Tilton
I am researching the Tilton family of New Jersey. I recently saw the findagrave listing for "Senator Abraham Tilton" that you are maintaining and visited the cemetery.

Abraham Tilton was a Private in the Burlington County militia, not a General. He also was not a senator. The Sen. after his name denotes Senior, not senator. There are no records in any of the Revolutionary War documents for New Jersey that I have found supporting the claim of rank or elected office.

Could you please make the changes so that he will be easier to find in the findagrave database?

Harrington family
I am looking for any other information you might have on the Harrington family of Rensselaer county. They are related to the Deuel family also. Thank you so much for your time. I got your information off of find a grave. It was telling about the Harrington cemetery. Thank you again
