Thanks to all the dedicated people who have made suggestions, added photographs or portraits to the memorials, and who care enough to go the extra mile to help make the memorials I maintain as accurate as possible. I may not always have the time to thank you individually, but I do appreciate corrections or additional information. I will always try to make changes as quickly as possible.

If you are a direct relation (4 generations) of someone whose memorial I maintain and wish a transfer, please ask. I am happy to transfer to lineal descendants, unless I am also a descendant. Please use Edit tab to request a transfer and state their relation to you. Also, please use the Edit tab to suggest corrections and links to relatives.

Please feel free to use any photographs that I have taken for genealogical purposes.

Torkel Aarrestad
It has come to my attention we each have a memorial for this person, I created Torkel Aarrestod based on information from the Utah database, and yours based on your more accurate headstone photo. Let me know how you would like the two memorials merged, I'll be happy either way.

RE: Mary Houston Kimball, Memorial 69396974
I can't quote which resource gave the wife numbers. If you google "Mary HOUSTON b: 11 SEP 1818 in Jackson, Stark, Ohio" you will find her wife number changing on different lists. The one thing in common is she is on every list.

RE: Mary Houston Kimball, Memorial 69396974
Be sure they post the correction. I accidentally posted Mary to Joseph Smith's father Joseph Smith. I asked it to be removed from the father who only had one wife, and I re-entered Mary on Joseph Smith Jr. Mary was his 26th wife. My McBee family moved from Stark Co., OH where my 2nd Great-Grandfather married Mary's sister Elizabeth Houston in 1831.

I don't believe my McBee family was Mormon, but they moved with them to Missouri. They settled in the area where Carroll, Ray, and Caldwell counties meet. They built a church called the McBee Chapel which still exists today. Elizabeth Houston McBee is buried there.

I found the Mary Houston connection accidentally by searching to see if Elizabeth was kin to Sam Houston.

I've added the note to David's memorial.
Do you have additional birth family info on Elsie, a wife?

Nickolaus Falkner
I just came across a note from his granddaughter (I am his second great granddaughter) who knew his wife well. She said that Nicholas's wife (Katharina Eckert) said that his name should be spelled Nickolaus. I will change the spelling to reflect this.

Thank you for contacting me about Nicholas Falkner's name. The spelling of his name has been a tough issue. It is found in many different spellings including:
* passport application: Nikolas
* citizenship application: Nikolas
* Obituary/funeral notice: Nicholas
* death certificate: Nickolas
* Ship record: Nickolas
*differnt ship record: Nicolaus
* church record: Nikolaus
* 1900 census: Nicholas
* 1910 census: Nichlos
* daughter's death certificate: Nicholas
* German birth record: Nikolaus

As you can tell with all the different spellings, it's hard to tell what it really should be without actually speaking to him. I'm thinking the most correct is probably from the German birth records (Nikolaus) and perhaps when he immigrated he changed the spelling to Nickolas.

Thank you so very much for letting me know about the correct parents! I have made the correction. Please let me know if you would like me to transfer management to you of that grave.
