|I have been doing family history for over 45 years and I do understand that elation when one finds information about their family. For over 7 years now I have tried to do my share in documenting grave sites in any cemetery that I am near. I hope that my efforts have helped some to actually see the grave site of a family member that they never knew the location of or could never hope to visit. I spend many hours doing the photography and even cleaning up the weed choked sites. Also I go the extra mile and try to find more documentation and information about the person.|
It is not my intent to construct an instant family tree for anyone to claim; but, please, do not minimize or negate the time and efforts I put forth. I am always cooperative in making corrections or adding information to a site but prefer not to make transfers except under certain circumstances.
Please be patient if I do not make an edit immediately. It will happen but I am not at the computer 24-7.

I get it. Thanks. Who knows but maybe when I get around to searching for her parents in Germany I might use both spellings.

The 1860's and 1870's United States Census don't have an Eliza Holstein for George and Martha Elizabeth. https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:M4NW-8ZY?from=lynx1&treeref=LHVY-FWJ
Whereas the Peter and Elizabeth have a daughter Eliza born in 1857, then married a Joseph Kauffman. The 1870 census has her listed with Peter and Elizabeth.
Hi, my great, great grandmother was 'Dorothea Dora Barth' and I noticed there are two letters misspelled in her name. Record 141602887 has the spellings as Dorathea Earth. Thanks.

Thank you for replying, actually I know now what has happened as the Friends Cemetery is one of my most visited ones since my 3rd great grandfather is buried there. What you saw for the listing in the newsletter was actually mine; but it was an older one. I later created a newer one and somehow I inadvertently left off Joseph and Ann Bell and never realized it. So, I have the mystery figured out.
