|Kathy Watts||E.U.B. Mount Zion Church Cemetery, Thomas Ridge Rd., Mason Co., W.V.|
The photo of the Church and Cemetery is not correct! I have checked the cemetery readings of the headstones on a few to make sure we are at the same area and we are. It's just that the photo's are of the wrong Church and Cemetery. I'll be honest and saying I don't really know the Church that is in the photo. My Grandfather ministered at The E.U.B. Mount Zion Church Cemetery on Thomas Ridge road in Mason County, West Virginia from 1941 until a few years before his passing in 1965. In 1968 the Church closed it's doors to services. I have pictures of the correct Church. I know that gathering Church and headstones photo's is hard work and it would be easy to make a mistake, you are appreciated!

Could I use your pictures for my family history?
I am looking for a grave of Elizabeth (Sarah Betsey)Hatch Childs, wife of Daniel Deacon Childs. Daniel (son of Cap. Jonas Childs, also buried therewith his wife, last name Alford) is buried in the Beckett Center cemetery in Beckett MA, and I have a picture of his tombstone. I have spoken to the pastor of the adjacent church on the phone, and he was going to put me in contact with someone who might help me, but no one ever called back. I believe the died within a few years of each other, she first, and would have thought she they would be in the cemetery. I have spoken to someone who was there though, and could not find a stone with her name on it, and could not find anyone to ask where a list of names of the buried might be found. Any help very much appreciated. I tried to contact one of the local heritage/genealogy societies and they offered no help.Mary

Is the tombstone pictured with the Abia Rece memorial supposed to be his tombstone or a representative of the tombstones in the cemetery?
