RE: Wollschlagers
Added the middle name Paul. With the other requests: I can add parents to children, but not vice versa.

RE: Lyman Bulkley Wilcox
Thanks so much for that information! It sounds like a great historical reference. Mr. Wilcox must have been quite a man.

I am glad to help. They were not terribly readable, I hope you were able to get what you needed from them.

Elisha Savage and Thankful Johnson headstone
I cannot make out the writing or dates on this headstone. I know there were two Elisha Savages.
Is one the father and one the son?

Did you happen to note the text down?

Also - Is the Revolutionary War Headstone for Elisha Savage also in this cemetery?

Any help appreciated,

thank you

RE: Mary Jane Bennett Williams / Union and Halstead Cemetery
Hi

Not to worry, John. I read where you are quite a ways away now. I am sure someone closer will get to my requests. I had 12 requests a month ago, now down to 9. So I am getting some good help out there.

Thanks for checking and thanks from all of us needing photos - some people forget to give thanks to the volunteer photographers and then many don't know how. I am not able to do many photos in the field due to health reasons, but I have done 4 with no response. I don't hold any animosity for the above reasons - I am just thankful people are out there helping me and my family.

Best Regards
Greg (Oregone)

Hi John

Thanks for taking the time to look for Mary Jane in your photos.

I still have a photo request in for her headstone. Hopefully one of the volunteer photographers in the area will find her this summer.

She was my Great, Great Grandmother.

Best Regards
Greg

Union and Halstead Cemetery
Hi John

I read your message that said you have photos from Union and Halstead.

Does your collection include the headstone of Mary Jane Bennett Williams?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thank You
G

RE: BENNETT in Union and Halstead
Thank you for your reply, John. I double checked (now knowing the exact date) and find that he is indeed in that cemetery. I added a memorial, and will link his parents and wife. He married into my WILLIAMS family - his wife only lived another 4 years. I am trying to figure out why she is buried in Richmond, VA - there is some additional family connection that I am missing.

BENNETT in Union and Halstead
John,
I see that you have added several BENNETT names to Union and Halstead cemetery in Putnam County, NY. I have two questions for you:
Are you related?
Do you know if you have covered all of the Bennetts buried there?
I am particularly interested in David & Amanda Bennett. They had a son Charles W. who is enumerated with them in 1880 census, married, but no wife listed. He is ALSO listed in the 1880 mortality schedule, having died that year of consumption. I would think that he would be buried near his parents, but he is not listed on Find A Grave, and I'm not about to plop him there just because it seems likely.
Charles' widow did not remain in NY, and she is buried elsewhere.
