|Bio and Links|
I have always had a love for history, old architecture and cemeteries. Once I started researching my families genealogy I discovered Find A Grave. |
That small dash represents our lives, accomplishments, failures and our greatest achievements of all...those we loved.
If you are a family member to someone I've added, I'd be glad to transfer them to you. Or if you should come across a loved one and would like to add a bio for them, please feel free to let me know.
If there is a duplication please check for the dates and if I am the younger of the two I will delete my entry.
My family names are on my fathers side: Parcell, Fogarty, Wiseman, DeJournett, Bailey, Burgess, Hinkle and Mullins. On my mothers side: Tyner, Swain, Wooten, McKinney, Reily and Taylor.

Thank you so much for creating the link for James Lafayette Shaver to the rest of the family. Did you see how many generations and how many relatives were linked together as a result of that one link? It was outstanding. For anyone doing any research work on the Shavers, they should find generations of information now about the family's past.

You are welcome

I am trying to follow up on an old message you left on Brother Xavier's profile regarding Peter Werneth and Emma Lou Frier. Are you related to either of them? Emma Lou was my great-grandmother. Would love to chat!
If you prefer to e-mail me I can be reached at RNJenn@live.com

Hi Sheila - Based on your last name I'm guessing you are a relative of Sgt. Richard Parsel who died at Camp Chase, true? I too am a relative through his daughter Mary. I'm wondering if you may be able to shed some light on the various spellings I've been coming across. I find it odd that they are shifting so much for a family not recently gone through immigration. Obviously we have the modern "Parcell" and the spelling on the stone of "Parsel" but then on the documentation I have found for his service in the 36th Va Cav his name is stated as "Parsely". Can you help?

Oh, Okay, I didn't know. I was out at the cemetery yesterday. It is a very beautiful place. Have you ever been able to locate his grave there? Also, How exactly are you related? I am thru Isaac Addison Park (GGGrandfather).

Thank you for the transfer of my family members at Grandview. I appreciate the work you have done and the memories your are helping to preserve. Your work doesn't go unnoticed.
Thank you so much for the transfers Sheila.

I think you are related to Percy. His memorial is 58304828. Parents are James R. Wiseman and Bertha Lane.
Could you please communicate with me in regard to the duplication of memorials for the Shavers in Grandview Cemetery in West Virginia? We both may be related to them. If you are not related to them, I am in their direct line, and I would like to discuss their memorials with you. Thanks.
