Bio Photo My home is circa 1784. Its situation is such that it fell in the line of battle during the conflict between the States. When my father died, I was too early at the cemetery for the appointment concerning the necessary arrangements. To pass the time I paid a visit to the antique shop close by. Displayed there was a book which possessed a title that gave me the idea that my home may be mentioned within. Upon opening it, the pages fell directly to a description and photograph of my old place. It was not intended for the purpose, but the volume became a much worn field guide as I sought to visit and photograph other ante-bellum homes in the vicinity. I pursued that objective with interest and vigor. This caused me to notice the old churches en route and I began to photograph them. Behind the churches were cemeteries. Cemeteries that I found to be serene and sublime, full of lore. In turn they led me here and I stayed.

Who is the Colonel you speak of?

HER father: the Dr. Humphrey Peake who was just transfered to me by dMf.

These entry dates of Feb 2015 is not many years ago.
Pease don't take all this as an insult to you, that is not my intent and I am certainly not into Quantity of memorials, but this family is now so messed up due to whoever deleted all their memorials recently. The Peake family has been a work of love for over 30 years for me and yes I am concerned, sorry I do not mean to offend you in any manner.

I'll make a trade.....I will give you all the McKee's I manage total of 10, for ONE Cornelia Peake McDonald.

your memorial #142948584 and the other of #18809342 by Project Manager who took over the original but without any pictures.
I am so confused on how all this happened. I had originally posted the pictures of Cornelia on the very first entry by whomever it was. I have worked on this Peake line for almost 30 years and never dreamed anyone would simply delete everything they had.

Would you consider a transfer of Cornelia to me if possible. My ID # is #46980645. She will be well cared for and I am in frequent contact with her ggggrandaughter also a Cornelia McDonald.

Thank you
JoAnne

RE: Ernest Nalle
Thank you so much for the picture. He was such a handsome young man. May I inquire about your interest in Ernest that would warrant you finding the picture? Or should I just say, Are we related?

George,
I saw your picture of Gilbert Jefferson Wright. I wonder if you have any other information about. I have recently discovered that he is the brother of my 4x great grandfather, Wm Felix Wright and I have very little information about him. Thanks for anything you could share.
