Born in Moberly, Missouri; have lived in Pilot Grove, Jefferson City, Linn and Columbia, Missouri as well as Lake Jackson, TX.|
Much of my own research revolves around the Franklin County, MO. area with the Brinkmann/Cole and Brune/Weeke families and on my husband's side the Pilot Grove and St. Louis areas with the Ellebracht/Behlmann and Litteken/Weber families.
If you are researching Missouri relatives, be sure to check out the state death certificate database, found here:
Missouri Death Certificates
Cooper County cemetery information can also be found online:
Cooper county Cemeteries
Much of the information I post originates from those two sites.
Always happy to make corrections, additions or add links to memorials. I don't normally send a verification notice to these suggestions unless there is a problem, nor do I expect anyone to send that for my suggestions. That can be very time consuming.
I will transfer to family as long as the memorial in question is not one of my close family, though I reserve the right to retain memorials if another contributor seems to be just collecting last names or shows disrespect to others.
While I am happy to share what I have with individuals, I ask that you not repost my pictures on other websites. Reference or link to this one if you wish, and hopefully increase the size of the findagrave community!

|Undertaker's Gr/Granddaughter||RE: Ortho Simpson|
So true! If you ever see a female in the Cooper Co. cemeteries or neighboring counties with a black and white freckled chihuahua, introduce yourself. Thanks for the picture of Cosby, I have been there just didn't know I was related to any of them til this morning.

May I use his picture of his headstone on my ancestry page? :o)
|JUDY MCCALLISTER||Bottemueller link request|
Yes, Katharina Louise Lefmann was 1st married to Hermann Bottemueller on 4/24/1862. However, the link you supplied: 47715371 is not the correct person. This Herman died in 1820, twenty years prior to Katharina's birth.
I could locate no grave for Hermann Bottemueller b. 1836 d. 2-4-1870 buried in Champion City. While checking your request I also noted that 47715371 has a son attached that does not belong to him but he is the son of Katharina & Hermann Bottemueller (b. 1836). The list of mistaken attachments only grows from there! Guess people forget to use some basic logic and attach relatives without considering their birth and death dates.
My suggestion is that you check with Andrew, the creator for 47715371, and see where the birth and death dates on the listing came from since the picture doesn't clearly show dates on the headstone. This Herman could indeed be Katharina's first husband but as it stand the dates don't match.

Thank you for all of your time and care. I'll give it another try, and start at the other end of the line for those 3 Carville boys (I'm not having much luck there, as you can probably tell.) I appreciate the info about Find A Grave! Thanks again!

You are most welcome!

This marker was virtually covered with sod. I too the liberty to clean if off for your picture request.

In regard to your request to link him to his parents, this had already been done. Was there another link that you had meant to request?
Thank you, Carol
|marylin scott||Salt Fork - Maggie Owen|
I discovered a mistake in Cooper County Salt Fork records (which will be changed when Mr Thoma gets his computer program up again) I have added a lot to that cemetery history through him.
Maggie Crockett Owen is actually Maggie Crockett Dunn. That explains why there is no grave marker for the nonexistence Maggie Owen. I am trying to retype our gravestone locations' list for our own use and I keep discovering mistakes. Marylin Scott - Salt Fork Cemetery
