A Mite of Humanity
The Broken Chick
Special thanks to: Duane Heit and Merrill Austin ~ For help with the history of my family in Iowa. And many others who help me piece together my family quilt.

I believe in credit where credit is due. Those sending information for memorials I manage are linked in the memorials. The helpful nature of Find A Grave volunteers is awesome!
For Union Cemetery: When there is conflicting information about the verified spelling of a name, I will use the spelling on the gravestone inscription. If there is no gravestone, I will use the spelling as shown in the cemetery records unless there is compelling evidence of a different spelling.
** My apologies for any delays in responding to corrections, suggestions, or other inquiries. I have been very ill since September 2014 and unable to do anything on Find A Grave. I am now recuperating slowly, so please hang in there with me. I will work a few hours each day to try to catch up but it will take a while. (11 Feb 2015)
Good days, bad days; good weeks, bad weeks. (16 Oct 2015)
Please send all corrections and additions through the EDIT link in the upper right corner of each memorial rather than posting them to my profile page. This allows me to easily access the precise memorial so I can correctly add pertinent information. Thank you.

I took that photo after a hard rain. I will take another picture so you can see what else is on it. There is more to see that was hidden by the rain and dirt. Jim

I love your memorials and am hoping you can help me in my search. Is there any other information on Lavinia Noble that might not be on her memorial? Are there any records I can access or phone number to call? I have hit a brick wall.

May I use the photo of the death/burial record of William Richardson that you contributed to his memorial page , to post on the Vermont Civil War site? ( www.vermontcivilwar.org)
You will receive credit for this.
Thank you for your consideration.

I apologize if I sent you a message earlier asking this question, but I couldn't remember if I had asked this years earlier...
Do you happen to be related to the Murray family buried in Lawler? Mike Murray was my grandpa's brother. I was just trying to find pictures and information on my grandpa's siblings.

Would you please make the edits that I sent for my cousins memorial some time ago. The family would appreciate it. Thanks.

Hi Jane - transferred these memorials to you. Good luck in your searches. Fred
Thank you for trying to find a headstone for my family.-Jeanne Nagel

You've posted a few photo requests for burials at St. Louis 3. This is a huge cemetery. If you call the cemetery office, they can give you the location to add to your request. It may be the only way to find it.

Find A Grave #76220330 in the Union Cemetery, Kansas City MO for Clevie Clemings - I went to the cemetery yesterday hoping to find this grave, but could not. Since you have not posted a headstone picture, does that mean he does not have one? Your note on his Find A Grave page says "Replacement grass marker (per 1986 survey". What does this mean? Thanks
