I've been doing genealogy for over 20 years and have found resources like FindAGrave to be very helpful.|
I believe that one should give as much as they take, thus I've become a contributor to this site.
Transfers and Photos
Since I am not related to most of the memorials I've created, I will gladly transfer them if you are family of the person memorialized. Please feel free to use my photos for personal use, for other purposes I ask you credit me as the photographer.
Find A Grave prefers that volunteers not add obituaries to their memorials due to potential copyright issues. However, since obituaries and death notices published before 1923 are in the public domain (see How Long Copyrights Last), I will add them. Please do not request the addition of obituaries or death notices published in 1923 or later. If you would like to write an original biography, however, I'll be happy to post it, with attribution.
Please DO NOT add images of death certificates to my memorials. Missouri Death Certificates are readily available here.

Hoping to learn the source for Emerson E. Willhite's middle name being Ellsworth?
Emerson E. Willhite is one of my Great Great Uncles.
I have accumulated some records for Emerson over the years, but could never confirm his middle name. I am happy to see that someone seems to have figured it out, but also hoping to learn the source.
By the way, My Great Grandfather, Ira Clyde Willhite, my Great Grandmother Mabel (Moore) Willhite, my Grandfather, Ross Moore Willhite, his two brothers, James and Ira Jr., their wives, and their half sister Laverna, are all buried in the adjacent plot (Block 3, Lot 69), next to Emerson, Emerson's wife Lilly, and some of their children.
Any information and/or help will be appreciated.
Regards, Rick Willhite

We were wondering where the information 'Valentine Wilkins Nutter Cleveland' came from? VW Cleveland/ aka Valentine W. Cleveland (changed name from 'Nutter' to middle initial of 'W') died in 1900 in Chicago, ILL, and was buried beside his brother there. We have called the cemetery there and confirmed this. Genealogy, as well as newspaper clippings also help to confirm the ancestry. Still, we're open to new information! Is it possible to find sources for your information re his name? Can you recommend who we might contact to find out who/how/when the 'VW Cleveland' tombstone was placed there?
There might be two VW Clevelands!
Thanks so much.

If you are not related to these memorials I would like to have them. Samuel and Mary Ann are my great great grandparents.

Thank you very much for editing their memorials.
|Personal Pedigree Genealogy||Robert Kane|
Hello! I am wondering where you got the information that Robert Kane, who died 13 Sept 1919 in Kansas City, Missouri was born in Ireland (on 15 Sep 1849)? The US Census records all state he was born in Pennsylvania. Trying to sort this all out, so would appreciate any doc to support where he was actually born. Thanks a ton! Lisa

Thanks so much for creating his record. His mother's maiden name was Stevenson. I've sent the edits to you to add his parents' records.
