Bio and Links
Bio Photo DOES ANYONE KNOW THE NAME OF THIS UNION OFFICER? He appears to be a 2LT. What is HIS NAME AND UNIT. On the reverse side of the photo it says Partridge's Gallery, Wheeling West Virginia.

Findagrave was founded in 1998. When I first joined this site back in july 1999, we had to mail our photos to Utah and they would upload the records. This meant I did not get credit for many records. Anytime you see my photos dated before 2002, that meant I found the records but only credited with the photo. I have numerous trees on ancestry that I have done for friends. Ancestry com is where family trees are put together. Findagrave is a separate entity---This is one of my contributions I leave to future posterity.

Tips on researching your family tree.
Records from the 1800s:
Example 1. Mary T. Lincoln, the 'T'
usually represents her maiden name, not her middle initial.
Example 2. Robert Todd Lincoln. The first born son's middle name is usually his mothers maiden name.In this example, Todd is his mothers maiden name.

My goal is to do Quality Work, Not Quantity Work.Copyright information: You may use my photos. Most people do not give credit to the people who actually take the photos.People listed as FAMOUS on this site are "maintained by findagrave", which means only they can edit/add information. Any records I have that are Famous, I can't change a thing for you, sorry.

Because I get the feeling that you vet all this information before it goes onto the site, I need to ask you if you will share your documentation on the parents of Mary Casad. I have inherited this line from my dad, and he had nothing for her parents, but I have a marriage for Samuel Mathews and Lydia Porter. I'm not looking for the information, but for the SOURCE, because I have no sources and I'm hoping that you do. I have seen this family suggested in a couple of places, but I just have a gut feeling that there is a document or a story about them somewhere.

Susan Richards
Martha Wright Woodward
My name is Susan K. Richards. I'm writing about Martha. Her memorial number is 125404686. I believe her maiden name is Horton. Her father, Wright Horton, his father was Major Micajah Horton.

Also, Martha was married once before A.F. Woodward and had 4 children by her first husband, Henry C. Tinges. I believe that Julana's maiden name was Tinges. She was born in 1885 and Henry Tinges didn't die until 1887. Henry is also buried in the Elmwood cemetery. He is listed as H.C. Tinges.

Please feel free to contact me if you have any other questions. I'm at wahoo1015@comcast.net.

Sincerely,

Susan K. Richards

Thank you!
I am happy to learn you don't mind me keeping a second post on not just one but two Swor family members in the Garvin Memorial Cemetery! I hope you went to my link with the different articles about my cousin, Jesse Swor trying so hard to protect that small cemetery! It is sad greed and progress over rules family burial sites! Frances James, nicknamed the Cemetery Lady of Dallas, TX also worked hard to protect this site!!! Thanks to Findagrave and people like yourself hopefully we can share their memory and preserve their resting place!

Col. Jennison/ Greenwood - Leavenworth
Hi Tom

very interesting addition to
# Find A Grave Memorial# 13574600
Colonel Jennison

I have created another memorial based on an May 9 1916 article in Leavenworth Times stating that he was disinterred from MT MUNCIE !! so I am thinking he was one that was moved from Greenwood when it became defunct to Mt Muncie then moved again to Mountain Oak in Oakland CA.

wondering if you would like the new memorial tramsferred to you - your bio is much better tahn mine

Maggie

RE: Louise Godejohann (1849?-1960)
But where did you get the names of Mr. Lubben's parents from?

That is all the information I really need. You must have a source for that?
