Would you have a headstone that gives the last name of this soldier? I am trying to identify last resting places of many of our "old soldier' that had roots in Vermont, to post on the Vermont Civil War site. ( www.vermontcivilwar"( I would like to ask your permission to use this photo, but need his last name.
Sorry to be a pest.

|Valentine||Ada Marstellar Lunsford, VA|
Hi, thank you for the contribution of the bio of my great-grandmother, Ada Marstellar Lunsford. There are two things that need to be corrected.
1) In the listing of her children at the top of the page, you omitted her son, Herman Lunsford, but he is mentioned in the listing of the children further down the page with hyperlinks.
2) You list James Lunsford as Ada Marstellar Lunsford's husband when in fact they were divorced. According to the State of Virginia Divorce Decree, he abandoned & deserted her and their five children in Manassas, Virginia. At some point he moved to Marion, South Carolina and remarried.

Question: The Cemetery sign indicates established in 1899. Was there a family cemetery here prior? Elizabeth's Memorial says she died in 1739... Thanks for your help! ~KBo
|John Rentz||Otis Jerome Trenis|
Would you know if your Otis Jerome Trenis, #27267614, is the same Otis Jerome Trenis who was a member of the Metropolitan Police Department, Washington, DC, starting in 1901, and continuing until his retirement in December 1923?
|Karen Quaintance||Ida Locknane|
I'm not sure where you got the newspaper article about Ida. She, indeed, did commit suicide. At the time of her death she was 47, not 41. Carolyn was 14, not 16. Carolyn was my mother and Ida was my grandmother. Thank you.
