Hi there! My name is Wayne Moots, I am also the "keeper of the history" in my family, even though I am only in my 20's haha. I have researched my mother's side of the family to Katherine "Katie" Dickerson who married my great-great grandfather, Alva Bixby. I was hoping you could email me a copy of the photos I've seen on this website for Ellen Jane Stubbert (1853-1913) and Matthew Stubbert (1826-1899) for my records? I would very much appreciate it. My email is email@example.com, and I'd also be happy to answer any questions you have about the Bixby family after Katie Dickerson! Thank you so much for your time, Wayne Moots
I am sorry to bother you, but I just wanted to ask you if you happen to know where I could find a copy of Phoebe Angeline Overbay Peterson's obituary?
A while back, you sent me a little info that I think came from her obituary? It would be incredible to have the whole obituary (& to share it with cousins). I think it may have come from an RLDS publication? I've asked at a few libraries and haven't found one yet that has old Zion's Ensign issues (and wasn't sure if that was the one that had Phoebe's obituary in it).
Phoebe was born in Dec. 1844 in Fountain County Indiana, and died 11 Feb. 1887 in DeKalb Co., Missouri. She was baptized by T.W. Chatburn 24 Feb. 1878 (probably the same time T.W. Chatburn baptized her husband Peter Peterson (1840-1913), probably in Shelby Co. Iowa).
Many thanks, if you have time to think about this anytime! I totally understand if you're too busy, and will keep looking.
RE: Louisa Wood Stubbart Sorry I haven't responded sooner, but I just read your message. My great grandfather Sherman Perry Brown was born Aug. 1869 in Harrison County Missouri, the son of Freedom R. Brown and Louisa A, Wood. He married Etta Florence Berry on the 19th of July, 1894 Brown County, Ohio. Sherman Brown died 15 Nov., 1904 in a hospital in Hastings, Adams, Nebraska. He was buried at Edholm Cemetery at Octivia, Bulter, Nebraska where his family lived.
FERGUS and HUTTON Hello Sharon - I think we have corresponded before and now I am working through the FERGUS family for the book I am writing. I would very much like to have your personal email and snail address so I can contact you if there is another reunion, etc. Please send to FERGUSresearcher@gmail.com. Thank you for all the genealogy you do for our extended family of Fergus and Hutton!
Matthew Stubbert/Stubbart Knowing that Men had several wives at the same time was common, but did women have two husbands at the same time? Margaret Mitchell Blythe (first wife), according to you has children by Blythe in 1865, 1858, 1859, 1860 and 1862. She also has children by Stubbert in 1847, 1853, 1854, 1861, 1865 and 1871. There must be a different Margaret that he was married to have had children by, other than Margaret Mitchell Blythe. This could not be a consectutive married with the children overlapping that way.

Leah Lindsey Harmon, #72031992 Sharon, I just received an email from FindAGrave that I created a duplicate memorial for Leah Lindsey Harmon. I did indeed do so! Leah is my great great grandmother on my mother's side. Is she also your direct-line ancestor? If not, would you be willing to transfer the one you created? Or I can transfer mine to you. Either way, we ought to get these two memorials combined into one. You have one of her children linked on yours, and I have another linked on mine. Thanks!!
