I believe in credit where credit is due. Those sending information for memorials I manage are linked in the memorials. The helpful nature of Find A Grave volunteers is awesome!
For Union Cemetery: When there is conflicting information about the verified spelling of a name, I will use the spelling on the gravestone inscription. If there is no gravestone, I will use the spelling as shown in the cemetery records unless there is compelling evidence of a different spelling.
** My apologies for any delays in responding to corrections, suggestions, or other inquiries. I have been very ill since September 2014 and unable to do anything on Find A Grave. I am now recuperating with slow but steady progress, so please hang in there with me. I will work a few hours each day to try to catch up but it will take a while. (11 Feb 2015)
Please send all corrections and additions through the EDIT link in the upper right corner of each memorial rather than posting them to my profile page. This allows me to easily access the precise memorial so I can correctly add pertinent information. Thank you.

|Sue Oliver||Murray Family in Mt. Carmel Cemetery|
I was just wondering if you are related to the Murray family that is buried in Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Lawler, Iowa?
My family is buried there----I was just looking at my 2nd great grandfather's post on FindAGrave that you are managing.
Thanks, Sue Oliver

How are you connected to Lieut Crane? Are you a family member somewhere down the line or are you simply interested in military records or this particular cemetery?

I received an edit this morning regarding his mother. When I clicked on this memorial to check it out, I find this bio. I have searched my records, as I save all my emails and I never added this bio? Did you ask for me to transfer this to you? How did you get this done? Would you like for me to transfer this to you?
Just letting you know I added a memorial to Union Cemetery, from info obtained from obit. Another that wont be forgotten

Upon looking at your profile, I almost cried. You are the type of contributor that this site is blessed to have, you really care about the memorials you add. God bless you.

You are welcome! I live 1/2 mile from the cemetery, and have many relatives buried there, so am trying to find everyone who has not been pictured.

On Joseph Regan's memorial (Find A Grave # 19319106) it appears that there are duplicates of several photos.
Can this be remedied?
I appreciate your help and am humbled by the numbers you have raked up in your volunteer work on Find-A-Grave.
Thanks, and best regards.

Sorry to hear you been ill hope your recovering nicely by now. I don't know whether your the one researching the burials for Union Cemetery, Jackson, Missouri but her husband Lewis McQuaid died 10/25/1898 right after she did, my guess he was buried in here with her also. Lewis was born 9/6/1807 in Frederick County, Virginia. If you want to put him in there or see if he is in burial records or an obit that would be wonderful he is my ggreat grandmothers brother and just found him...
much appreciate any help

I went to the cemetery today to take photos of his and his wife's stone. They have stones but nothing is inscribed on them. So I'm going to add the photos anyway.
THANKS so much..
