Bio and Links
Bio Photo I've learned a lot from reading the discussion forums and the 'Help with Find a Grave' links over on the left and I have a lot of respect for all the volunteers who give so much energy to creating accurate records of burials.

I hope you enjoy tracing your ancestors as much as I'm enjoying tracing mine. When I walk a cemetery I tend to focus on burials before 1930, and I'm especially drawn to markers for Civil War veterans.

Feel free to use the Edit tab (suggest a correction) on any memorial to share corrections or additions.

And if your background includes the family names Beaman, Bell, Corder, Dye, Himes, Long, Newby, Oldham, or Terwilliger, I'd love to chat.

RE: Elizabeth Guthrie Polk
Would you be willing to transfer their memorials to me? If not that's cool.

Oh. I was hoping you were a long-lost cousin. :)

Elizabeth Guthrie Polk
I noticed you were transferred the memorial of Elizabeth Guthrie Polk, and that you are related to the Dye's. Her sister married a Dye, as you may know. Are you related somehow? I am the 3rd great-grandson of Elizabeth's sister Nancy Guthrie Kelley.

Fielding Epp
My posting is for Fielding Harrison Lane, father of Fieldng Epp. FH was m. to Elizabeth Larrimore and both of their graves were moved to Brooking per Fielding Epp. Or so family lore relates. I have a picture of him with "Grandma Sue" Lane--nee Susan Hofman, m. to John Lane, son of FH and E. Larrimore. Thank you for the info on FE's grave. How many other Lane's are there with him? Do you have more info? I would love a copy of the article. Was it in the KC star? I also have recent pictures of the Brooking headstones. Send me your email and I will share if you are interested. I have some info on the Oldham's but much is unverified. I concentrate on the Lane's. Nice to hear from a fellow family tree buff.

I think I could delete, but how do we know which one is the right cemetery?

I'm sorry, I don't understand what it is you want me to do. Is one or both of them in the wrong cemetery?
