Bio and Links
Bio Photo I work for the Cass County Genealogy Department in the Harrisonville, Missouri library. Most of my family came from Jackson County and Benton County, Missouri. I am married to Jerry Wallen and have two sons and five grandchildren. I love books, scrapbooking and genealogy. My husband and I have Model "A"s that keep us busy going to car shows.

Winnie Wallen is my Great Grandmother, through her son Obbie Cotter. I was wondering if you are related?

You did a great job photographing this cemetery, thanks. I have found a couple of death certs for burial there, with no entry in F-A-G. Before I do a photo request thought I would doublecheck - I suspect that you photographed and posted all the markers in that cemetery, so any newfound burials can be assumed to have no marker, correct? Did you observe many unmarked graves or illegible/broken markers? There are certainly some lovely stones there. Do you know of an on-line list for this cemetery?

It is frustrating with the OLD burials, yes, I have been all over Benton County, scouting cemeteries for my lost family. My family settled there in 1859. I know they died in Benton County, I deduced where they were buried, so I could link family members. If you find a different burial spot, I will be happy to move or delete my memorial for them...
