I found this site while doing my own family research and am hooked! Love going out and taking my kids with me. They love to read the headstones, take pictures, and feel like they are helping people.

Peace Cemetery
The church by the cemetery was a Lutheran Church, one of the first in Dushore area. I will ask my 90 year old friend that lives in Dushore tomorrow and see what he knows. I'll let you know. You might also ask Linda Crawford the same question. New burials still are taking place there so someone has to know where there are empty plots.

Do you want me to transfer?

you have 2 headstone pics shown for this memorial. Not sure who the first man is...could be his father or grandfather. George is my brother-in-law. Thanks, Denise<><

RE: Lucy Pendleton
That's okay. I just wondered since you mentioned you might go back to the cemetery. Thanks for the reply.

RE: Lucy Pendleton
You wrote in May (see below). Did you ever get back out that way to read the inscription?

RE: Lucy Pendleton
We will likely head back out that way again soon. Will see if my mom took down any of the inscription info.

RE: Lucy Pendleton
Thanks for the nice photos of Lucy's marker. I am not quite sure of all the inscription to confirm the relationships listed. It looks like she is the daughter of Judge Robert Nelson instead. Did you happen to write down the inscription when you were there? I can't quite make out the death date as well. Any help would be appreciated to get this straight. Thanks, Diane

Hello:
Thank you for posting a photopage of his footstone.
Would you please consider transferring your photo of it to the same page as his headstone? (Robert Rouzie)

Hello:
Thank you for posting a photopage of his headstone.
Would you please consider transferring the page to me? I have his Confederate service records and obit to add.

Appreciatively,
