Bio

Borrowed from Nancy Jane Faulk White Adams;
******A Texan's family tree is like a beautiful rose with many fragrant petals, but with any rose, you have thorny branches that need pruning on occasion....the same goes with families.*******

I have always enjoyed walking around cemeteries and reading headstones. I feel that even though they are not walking among us they are still here in spirit and that in some way it may feel good that someone takes the time to stop and read their headstone. I enjoy helping others with their searches and it is very rewarding to be able to find information for those of us looking for someone.

***Every visit I make to a cemetery I take lots of photo's, so if I have added a family member and you would like me to transfer just ask and please feel free to use your ancestors photo any way you choose. I add these memorials so that one day someone looking for them will be able to find them. When I found FindAGrave my hope was to find my little sister's grave in Florida, 34 years had passed since we laid her to rest and moved back to Texas.
My wish was fulfilled by New York Historian,
and I am forever thankful. He lives in NY and was vacationing in Florida and took my request with him, even knowing there was no marker, he tried and succeeded.
When I saw the flowers marking her spot it filled a huge void I carried for 34 years. FindAGrave has become my way of giving back by helping others with same hopes.
*Special Thanks to New York Historian.
You are an amazing person!*

My surnames include:
DNA matched surnames; Lee, Landry, Quebedeaux, Woods, Godwin, Mouton, Hebert, Breaux, Luquette, Romero from LA and SE Texas areas.
as well as;
Wilkinson, Pryor, Dickinson, Anderson, Fisher, Herriage, Goodman, Cline, Rankin and others I have yet to discover.

My husbands family surnames: Chessher, Lancaster, Arnold, Robinson, Tipton, Cooper, Burgin, Dunlop/Dunlap, Barnett, Gross.

I am also seeking information for the surname WISECUP and SHAFFER, located primarily in Georgia, Ohio and possibly Massachusetts.

Words of wisdom:
**If you ever need a helping hand, you will find one at the end of each of your arms. As you grow older, you will discover that you have two hands; one for helping yourself, and the other for helping others..**
