I have spent the last 10 years documenting cemeteries in the Beallsville/Scenery Hill/ Centerville area of Washington Co., PA - specifically Beallsville Cemetery and several Hill family cemeteries. Most of the photos I've taken can be located at www.beallsvillecemetery.org along with scanned images of interment records, lot owner books, plotmaps, obituaries, photos, for Beallsville Cemetery. There are 8000+ burials in the cemetery so I continue to build and add to the website.|
I have been adding memorials to this site for Beallsville cemetery, using a combination of interment records and tombstone inscriptions. I've noticed that some of the dates that are listed in the interment listings as death dates are actually burial dates and may be off by a day or two. For burials that have no associated tombstone, I can only list what is in the cemetery records. If you have any corrections for the death dates or other related information, I'm happy to hear from you so I can correct the cemetery website.

Its just simply astonishing how many memorials you've added.. If you have time could you please transfer John and Katherine Galensky who are at Wetland cemetery.. They are my grandparents. And also my fiancé John R.Stankus Jr. His dad John R Stankus Sr and uncle John Stankus..and also Jerry and Anna Stankus. These are all in Beallsville cemetery. Thanks for what you do! Without folks like you there would be no F.A.G.

My Iiams relatives from western PA and I have had such a lot of fun discussing this family this week thanks to you. (I mean trying to get all the relatives figured out).
You have Elizabeth Iiams who would have been this infants grandmother, husband Salem Iiams, Elizabeth A. Iiams maiden name was Deems in case you have a minute to add this information to her grave information.
Thank you again Debbie, Linda

Debbie, would you mind another request for transfer. The infant Iiams there has family (parents) buried at Monongahela Cem. They are my Camp relatives.
Thank you for all these records you have recorded. Linda

Thank YOU, Debbie...I always have kind of thought these posts sometimes just get lost in cyberspace!

Hello Debbie. May I please request a change in this person's listing? She is my GGGgrandmother and her maiden name was Mary Fisher [d/o John and Lydia Kenworthy Fisher]. She m/1 Obediah Garwood and after his death she m/2 Elon Hole. Thus her correct name should read Mary Fisher Garwood Hole. Thank you!

Thank you Debbie. Italia was known as Aunt Icy Ridge. I don't like to ask you more questions but when there is no record of interment, does that she is there but no information of burial plot exists? At Hewitts Cemetery, her family member also has no information about date of interment. It doesn't even list a grave site at Hewitts, so I am not sure what it all means. Linda

Debbie would you mind unless you are related transferring Italia Ridge to me. I have several Ridge connections. Italia was the sister if my great grandfather. I have been trying it get all these Ridges connected on Find A Grave. I just wonder where her husband Josephus is buried. I would think they were buried same place.
Her no. 92244297
You really have done a great job listing Beallsville cemetery. Thanks for all your work. Linda
