I have spent the last 10 years documenting cemeteries in the Beallsville/Scenery Hill/ Centerville area of Washington Co., PA - specifically Beallsville Cemetery and several Hill family cemeteries. Most of the photos I've taken can be located at www.beallsvillecemetery.org along with scanned images of interment records, lot owner books, plotmaps, obituaries, photos, for Beallsville Cemetery. There are 8000+ burials in the cemetery so I continue to build and add to the website.|
I have been adding memorials to this site for Beallsville cemetery, using a combination of interment records and tombstone inscriptions. I've noticed that some of the dates that are listed in the interment listings as death dates are actually burial dates and may be off by a day or two. For burials that have no associated tombstone, I can only list what is in the cemetery records. If you have any corrections for the death dates or other related information, I'm happy to hear from you so I can correct the cemetery website.

Thank you Debbie I would appreciate that.

Thank you so much for the picture you took of my g.g.great grandmother back in 2012. I was at Beallsville cem. for the first time Sunday & you can no longer read her stone, if you had not taken the time to photograph this stone I would not have a record of her death. Thanks again for all your hard work.
THANK YOU FOR YOUR POSTINGS !!
MY MOM'S MOM WAS EDNA HESS HEPLER !!
Hi Debbie: Thanks for posting the tombstone for Jack Baird on his find a grave site. He was my uncle and served in the Second World War. He was a ski trooper in Europe. George Staib

|Tee Tee||Thank You...|
Just wanted to take the time to thank you for all of your research, documentation and photos. It is greatly appreciated as I am doing my sons father side of the family "Fowkes" and have found so much just through your pages then most anywhere. He has seen so many pictures and headstones that has brought him to tears just to get a glimpse makes him feel so much closer to them of the ones he never knew.
I see some of your messages people can be down right rude and obnoxious, I wouldn't let that get to you. Some people were just raised that way.
Keep up the great work you do.

It doesn't say twins and they weren't. The other one was Warren according to his death certificate (see # 64872489).
Please process my corrections and add this under Note: Given name from death certificate.
Then add the same picture to Warren's memorial.

Please remove the death certificate for Matilda's husband Jacob. You have his posted on his memorial I don't see the point and posting on hers as well. Thanks
|Tracy Zang||Re: Libbie TINLEY Brundege|
Thank you for all your time adding these memorials. My great great grandmother, Lydia Melissa Tinley Brundege, (Memorial# 63878458) has her last name listed as Finley instead of Tinley. For years we also thought it was Finley, due to the difficulty of reading the cursive writing on various documents. However, with the release of death certificates, we can see that Libbie's death certificate reads Tinley, as does Libbie Brundege's name on her daughter Rebecca's death certificate, which is the most clear. Please change Lydia's(Libbie) last name on the Find-a Grave memorial.
