Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have spent the last 10 years documenting cemeteries in the Beallsville/Scenery Hill/ Centerville area of Washington Co., PA - specifically Beallsville Cemetery and several Hill family cemeteries. Most of the photos I've taken can be located at www.beallsvillecemetery.org along with scanned images of interment records, lot owner books, plotmaps, obituaries, photos, for Beallsville Cemetery. There are 8000+ burials in the cemetery so I continue to build and add to the website.
I have been adding memorials to this site for Beallsville cemetery, using a combination of interment records and tombstone inscriptions. I've noticed that some of the dates that are listed in the interment listings as death dates are actually burial dates and may be off by a day or two. For burials that have no associated tombstone, I can only list what is in the cemetery records. If you have any corrections for the death dates or other related information, I'm happy to hear from you so I can correct the cemetery website.

Thank you for going out and taking the photo of Steve Zavatchen's marker. I've been helping a friend create her family tree and this helps a lot. Thank you again.

RE: Chatham Jennings
Thank you so much for getting back to me.... I think I solved the mystery... I found his father's will :) I will be sending and edit to connect them. I think Thomas Irwin is Chatham's son... I had a memorial linked earlier, then i deleted it, but not it makes sense ;)
Would it be possible to manage Chatham's memorial?
I appreciate the consideration, but I totally understand if it isn't possible.
In Gratitude Either Way,
L

Harriet and Hiram Leeper
#78413451 and #78417181

Harriet's maiden name was Widdup - not Gillis

John Gillis Leeper was their grandson - not son

Under the heading of "Siblings", the name John Walter Leeper (1886-1960) should be added. He is buried in LaFayette Memorial Park.

Great job on the Beallsville Cemetery website. One of my favorites.

Hello Debbie,
Thank you so much for the picture you took of my g.g.great grandmother back in 2012. I was at Beallsville cem. for the first time Sunday & you can no longer read her stone, if you had not taken the time to photograph this stone I would not have a record of her death. Thanks again for all your hard work.

Hi Debbie: Thanks for posting the tombstone for Jack Baird on his find a grave site. He was my uncle and served in the Second World War. He was a ski trooper in Europe. George Staib
