Memorials are created to honor the deceased.|
I am currently working on Fair View Cemetery in Roanoke, Virginia--if I add your family member let me know I will transfer.
PLEASE DO NOT CREATE DUPLICATE MEMORIALS IF YOU FIND SOMEONE HAS DONE SO THE ONE WHO ADDED IT FIRST IS TRUMP I WILL TRANSFER ANY MEMORIAL TO YOU IF I HAVE IT AS LONG AS ITS NOT MY IMMEDIATE FAMILY.***It becomes confusing when linking folks to their families.

|Stephen Keefe||RE: Willis at Fairview|
I appreciate the offer but I don't think these Willis' are related to my clan of Willis from the Shawsville area (near Christiansburg). Your photo of the stone for "C Willis" cleared that up for me, as he is actually Claude Willis where I thought he may have been Charles Willis. Thank you just the same, and thanks for taking the time to document this graveyard! They are very nice folks in the office. They were most helpful when I contacted them about another relative interred there (Nathan E Brady and his wife Nancy Dobbins). Thanks! Steve Keefe

Thanks very much for photographing the markers for the Willis' in Fair View. I had thought that "C Willis" may have been a relative but the photo you posted confirms he is not. He is actually Claude W Brady. I have updated his memorial. Thanks just the same! Steve Keefe
That would be grat as I may well have some changes to be made as I search out my cousins.

Thanks for the photo of marker of Lewis F. Woodson who was probably killed in the Battle of the Bulge.

Welcome to the family. Sarah is my husband Aunt by marriage. I did accept your edits. It's good to know that you are family. It makes me more at ease knowing where the info is coming from. Thanks for the additional info.

Yes! Katherine Jones Wirt was my mother's mother. Her ancestors were river bootleggers! Did you know that?!
I'd love to connect with you. My email is email@example.com.

I also requested Mattie E Thompson Keene. Her memorial # is in my other message. No hurry, just wanted to make sure she wasn't forgotten. She is my great grandmother.
