I have done most of my research on my husband's family - Buckner Walker, Sr. and Seleita Freeland, the Wolf(e)/Simmons, the Terry/Hendricks, the Pruitt/Procks, and more. I started researching about 15 yrs ago.|
I am the great great granddaughter of Valentine D. "Tine" Hoover and Urania Anderson, thru his daughter Laura Hoover who married Joseph H. Martin in St. Clair Co., MO. Also a descendent of Zebalon and Rhoda (Eskew) Rainwater, Martha (Bowles/Boles) Scarber Lawler(2nd husband Patrick Lawler), and James Madison Ray and Mary E. Rainwater.
In 2003, I had previously added memorials on Find A Grave with an old email addy (email@example.com), which does not reflect the data with my current email addy (firstname.lastname@example.org). I havent figured out how to combine the two as of yet ?????
I have my own private site, the Buckner and Seleita (Freeland) Walker and Allied Family Site.

|MJB||RE: Buckner Walker Burial Site|
As plainly stated on the Find A Grave site the proof I had was this
According to Rayford Hyatts research and information he gathered from descendants he shows that Buckner Walker is probably buried in this cemetery. He shows that Walker was in the 1880 census age 74 (born about 1882) and that he died about 1882.
Sorry for the ERROR!

Hi, I'm a descendant of Buckner through his Daughter Nancy Walker. Was wondering if you know anything about his parents? Any info you have on the walkers would be wonderful to have. Thank you, Lindsay
My name is Tonya (Ray) Berry (51), from Washington, IL.
I see from "Find A Grave Memorial" that we born from: James Madison Ray, and Mary R Rainwater.
My father was: Robert F Ray, from Arkansas. If you get this message, please email: email@example.com or call me at 309-635-6912.
|Farm Girl from MO.||RE: Mary J. Redmon|
Sorry but I guess I made a "boo boo" when it came to typing in Elijah T. Redmon's last name. I have no idea how I got Taylor typed in as cemetery records positively gave it as Redmon. I have corrected the error. As far as I know I am not a relative of this family. Memorials for my family members have purple flowers (called many blue by Find A Grave) attached to them. See my bio. area for details.
I had a bit of a hard time finding Mary J. Redmon #86535619 since you did not give me a memorial number for her. It always helps to include that bit of info. in any message you send to another contributor or an even better way is to use the Edit tab to send it to them! Using the edit tab will automaticly include the memorial number so the contributor receiving it will know who's memorial you are refering to.
Have a nice day, Marla M. from MO.

I have transferred the Falleur family to you. For future transfers you might want to remember to request them using the edit select on that persons memorial. Its so much easier for the person maintaining to transfer them so they don't have to look up information.
best wishes and kind regards, LBruns

|TIW||RE: Buckner and Seleita Walker Headstone|
Ok. I can email you an entire transcription of mt olive in Bankhead that was done and published a couple of years ago that shows him in that cemetery. Also, I photographed the entire mt olive in double springs and I know he's not at that one. let me know if you would like the transcription. It might help with further research as all the graves are not listed on findagave.

I am interested in helping locate the grave of Robert Walker.
Do you know where his property was?
Do you know for whether or not he has a headstone?
|cw3421||RE: Margaret Jane Rainwater|
I am so sorry it took me so long to respond to your request of ownership, I just never saw the message. My lines are on the Staton / Jameson / Rainwater / Wagner's. I live in Phoenix, AZ but if there is anything I can help with from here just let me know. One thing I have is a very cool quilt top that is embroidered with a lot of names on it. There are a lot of Rainwater's on it. I have some pictures if you want them.
