Bio and Links
Bio Photo Hello fellow find-a-gravers,

To request transfer, please do not post your request here in the comments section. I ask that all transfer requests be made through the official "suggest a correction" mechanism. Just go to the memorial, click "edit", then click the last option which lets you send a free form request. That sends me a link to the memorial, which helps ensure I process the correct one, and also sends me your member number so I don't have to go look it up. This saves me two or three steps, and helps me be accurate.

Excluding my own kin and special memorials, all of my memorials are up for grabs. If you are kin, you should have them imo. If no kin comes forward, then anyone who has a connection. Maybe you live next to the cemetery? Maybe you went to school with him/her? Maybe I have one of your old co-workers. You get it :) Just ask!

If you are also adopting out your memorials, I would happily adopt any of my main family surnames in the United States: Claussen, Crawford, Fox, Pennington, Petersen.

Thanks, and may God bless you immensely today!
Deb

This is the day the Lord hath made. I will rejoice and be glad in it! (and not spend the whole day working on findagrave! LOL )

Robert Guy Collier
Father was Irvin Lee Collier (29 July 1901, Smithville, Clay Co. MO - 26 July 1948, Kansas City, Jackson Co. MO). Location of his burial is unknown (he was cremated). Irvin was a son of Stephen Guy Collier and his first wife, Jessie Lee Miller.

High Ridge Cemetery
Hi Deb,
I see that you have created some memorials in the High Ridge Cemetery in Stanberry, Gentry Co., Missouri, specifically for some Younts. How did you come to create those? I know that you concentrate on Texas/East Texas. I'm just curious because these Younts are distantly related on my father's side of the family.

Old Harris Creek
This is the only way I can find to get hold of you. You sent me a message about a duplicate memorial. Stephen Ballinger in Old Harris Creek Cemetery. I have explained this to so many people, but want you to know. Those other memorials in the Harris Cemetery are in the wrong cemetery. I posted mine in the correct cemetery, not realizing the others were out there. I, and a few other findagravers, tried repeatedly to work with the lady who posted all of the memorials in the wrong cemetery. She would not cooperate by moving hers to the correct cemetery. We offered to delete ours as soon as she did that. She would not move hers. We did not delete ours.

I am so sorry the other contributor refuses to work with you.
BUT the link you sent me was for Agnes Fox, Not Stephen Ballenger. I tried to look up Old Harris cemetery and could not find it listed. Obviously This is not my memorial you supposedly duplicated. Please contact the admins and tell them what is going on. We are supposed to collaborate not fight. If yours is in the correct cemetery, be sure to request a photo, so you have proof of his burial. The first one in the CORRECT cemetery always trumps.

Good Luck

Arthur Irvin Small
I seem to have duplicated your memorial for Arthur Irvin Small. Please see #172201496. I had my memorial placed in Mt. Olivet Cemetery based on his obituary. I hate to delete it since all of the links have been made. If you are related, I will be happy to transfer my memorial to you. Do you want to transfer the tombstone photo first?

I'm sorry, I tried to send this message through the link on the memorial, but couldn't get past the robot blocker.

RE: deleting my memorial
Placing a duplicate memorial in a different cemetery does not negate the original, it's denial of proper findagrave courtesy and guidelines. Proper procedure is to contact the original memorial manager FIRST, before you add a duplicate, and make suggested changes. If they do not reply or decline, contact the administration to request they consider your suggestion. The final decision is their call, not yours.
I will forward this letter along with your above reply, and let them determine the outcome. If you have duplicated the other entire cemetery perhaps the cemeteries should be merged and the duplicates weeded out. Just a thought. It's their call.
