Bio Photo We can all do more helping each other than we can working alone.

Working my way through entries I manage in Collin, Wise County and Clay County, Texas. I gained management of a large group of them just recently so is a work in progress.

Earthman Resthaven Cemetery in Houston, Harris County, Texas is a "project" of sorts for me, I have added over 15,000 entries and pictures to this cemetery so far.

If additional information is offered, happy to update entries I manage. I like to connect entries to their spouse and parent's entries, makes it much easier to move around for everyone and adds value to the entry.

Primary lines: Hollis, Patterson, Maxwell, Davenport, Combest, Riggins, Hammonds, Peck, Dick. But am collecting data on all associated surnames.
I love pictures, it brings a little life to these "dead" names on paper we work on every day. smile....Concerning the pictures I post to the Findagrave website, we have to make them smaller to fit on the webpage which means you can't zoom in on the picture to pick up details. If this is case on one you need, write me, I'll try to find the original and send it to you.

I choose to follow Findagrave guidelines for transfer, which can be found on the Findagrave FAQ page, but in summary.

I transfer your ancestors or your descendants or your siblings unless they are my ancestors as well, but remember your grandfather's sister's nephew is not your ancestor....I accept they are part of your family, but let's keep it your ancestors, your siblings or your descendants.

For updates or connections, please the "Suggest a correction" feature on an entry for update or transfer, this gives me a shortcut to the entry as well as sending me the correction you wish made. Typically, I will get the update or connection done the same or next day unless I am out of town.

Please don't make duplicates of existing entries, it is confusing to us all, having said that if I have made a duplicate it was an accident, please advise me so I can get it fixed either by deletion or having findagrave merge the 2 entries to preserve flowers or connections.

Some findagravers insist on having multiple surnames in the surname field because of several marriages, please use the surname they died with as it makes a search for them nigh on to impossible otherwise.

RE: Bonnie Edith Tayor Daniels Hunt
Hi, I am trying to figure out the relationships in Bonnie's family. It appears that she first married S. A. Daniels and when he died, married again to Bruce Lofton Hunt. I found two Memorials on findagrave that appear to be for her, one under the last name Daniels and one under Hunt:
See Memorial # 10576528 on www.findagrave.com AND Memorial# 129491967
Memorial 129491967 includes an obituary clipping that names two of her children from her first marriage to S. A. Daniels (Garland and Curtis Earl Daniels) and her daughter (Roby) Fay from her second marriage to Bruce Hunt. In the 1940 Census Bonnie is married to Bruce and four of her children from her first marriage are living with her as well as Roby Fay. It would appear from this Memorial that Bonnie is buried with her second husband, Bruce at Benvanue Cemetery, Byers, Clay, Texas, USA.
I noticed that the Memorial 10576528 gives the same birth and death years for both S. A. Daniels and Bonnie Taylor Daniels - I believe that the dates are accurate for S. A. Daniels but incorrect for Bonnie. Any help that you can provide on sorting this out would be greatly appreciated! - Dolores

Julia Dillion #6924286
Julia Brown married Beaver Dillion 24 July 1898. I hit the wrong number and have the wrong person as her husband. Should be Beaver #5982137. Can you fix this? My computer is driving me crazy - its been running so slow.

Beaver married Irene Lovelzy in 1915 - to put the ladies in their proper order.`

Thank you, Wilda Dillion

Dr. John Morgan Childress
Hello, I have some information you could add to the listing for Dr. Childress. Sarah Childress was his full sister and there was another sister Molly who was Sarah's twin. Also a brother James Robert Childress who was my great grandfather.
Thank you so much!

Dillon/Dillion of Collin County, Texas
Richard Hollis: Henry Dillon thought his name didn't need that extra I. He buried his parents and had their headstones carved with the spelling he liked although they had always used Dillion. He really made a mess of his mother's name. She was Artemisia Annie Oden and was called Arty Annie. I got her name from her Mother's application for a pension request after her husband, Alfred Oden, died after the battle for New Orleans. I'm telling you this because I'm putting in requests to correct misinformation on their memorials.

Thank you for the family links
Thank you for the linking Lyndal Huddleston Kinslow to her parents, George B Huddleston and Florence Huddleston...This really helps a lot to get more of my niece's husband's family linked.
