Please understand that I have no control over the names, words and dates engraved on stones, written on death certificates or provided in obituaries. I didn't write them. I'm only providing those previously written words to you.

I have been an active contributor on this site for over 14 years, so yes it stands to reason that I have a fair number of memorials that I have entered, added to and lovingly care take even though they may not be a branch of my own family. It's quite possible that if I had not entered the memorial to begin with, you may not have been able to find them.

Individuals using this site need to realize that we are all volunteers and do not need to deal with abusive behavior or rudeness just because we won't make a transfer to someone who has registered two days or two months ago and want every memorial on the site with the surname of Jones. Or a transfer of a memorial of someone who they think just might be a fifth cousin, four times removed of their third ex-husband.

If you are new to this site, PLEASE read the "Frequently Asked Questions" located "HERE". If you take just a moment to familiarize yourself with these guidelines, it will definitely help yours and everyone else's state of mind, blood pressure and headaches. Just a hint, most people will not respond to your liking when bullying tactics are used.

If you will please use the "Edit" tab located on each memorial, I will be more than happy to correct, edit or add information to a memorial that is meaningful. I will not add all of the information from the past ten census records that have been released or any distasteful or disturbing messages.

Please be kind. We all make mistakes from time to time. If I have made a mistake or created a duplicate memorial later than one you have created, please use the "Edit" tab and send me the correction or let me know of the duplication and it will be taken care of quickly.

I will make transfers using the "Guidelines" if they are not a relative of mine. I will transfer your children, siblings, parents, grandparents or great-grandparents. All other requested transfers will be considered if you use the "Edit" feature and state your relationship or intended need for the memorial.

Lastly and most importantly, there are so many absolutely wonderful people that use Find-A-Grave! I am very appreciative for all of the suggested corrections, additional information and photos that have been provided. Please don't allow the rude, abusive and sometimes rather bizarre behavior of individuals to curb your enthusiasm or your want to help others.

Warm regards,
Joan

Memorial #108057659
I have some information regarding this memorial.
I believe that the information on Charles Lee Kaiser's death certificate is in error.

Please contact me at brandysan@gmail.com.

Thanks

Thanks
Thank you for posting pictures of my brother's grave marker on the Find a Grave website. I went to the cemetery today to find the marker but I could not find it. Half of the grave markers in the appropriate row appeared to be missing. Would you happen to know if it's possible for these ground level markers to be completely covered with soil?

Thanks again.

Charles A Cavileer #18158639
Just wondering where you found a photo of my grandmother's 4th cousin and if you have any other Cavileers from Lower Bank/Wading River/New Gretna??

Verna Graham, Bexar Co. Tx.
I learned through a close family source that Verna's maiden name was Ravenstahl. I also found her father Charles in the 1900 U S Census of Travis Co Texas (spelled Ravenstal b. 1849).
I recommend correcting her maiden name. Thanks. Jim G.

Hi Joan --- Sorry for the delay. I am an erratic Findagraver.

How about if I transfer Royal over to you. That way you can do whatever you wish.

Best,
Merlyn

Gerald Woodward Beadel
Joan:
Thank you for adding the nice photograph of Gerald Woodward Beadel to his memorial page for Mount Olivet Cemetery. It is a good addition to the memorial page I created and better than the fuzzy passport photo that I added. The two photos are nearly identical and may have been taken at the same time but I can see a slight difference in how much of his left ear is showing so these are two different images.

I am curious to learn where you obtained your photo. I am always looking for new sources of photos. Do you have access to any other Beadel family photographs?

Many thanks,
Eric Baker

She is not buried at East Mount Calm. Her body was buried in Somerville Texas and I include a D/C on her current memorial which says where she was buried. Please delete from East Mount Calm....Good luck and thanks for all you do!

RE: Dorris A Richmond # 79591940
Hi Joan,

No, actually Dorris was a man. His name at his christening at San Fernando in San Antonio was given as Frederico Dorris Richmond, but as early as his WWI draft registration he gave his name as Dorris Alfred Richmond. In subsequent censuses his name is Dorris A Richmond as on his headstone, but his death certificate once again gives his full name as Dorris Alfred Richmond.

Thanks for all you do on Find A Grave.

Respectfully,
Bruce
