Photo Matilda McCoy Ogg - Mars Hill
BLB513 - Thank you soooo much for the photo of Matilda Ogg. I think Kathi spoke with me earlier that she found the headstone. We never saw it on that memorial we had been looking at for so long! God Bless you guys. Thank you so much.

Mrs. Emma Smith
Scottdale, Jan 7, Miss Emma, Josephine Smith 52 years old, of Everson, died at noon Sunday at Frick Memorial Hospital where she was admitted on December 29? for medical treatment.
She was a lifelong resident of Everson and a daughter of the late Herman and Sarah Bittinger Smith. she leaves five brothers, George of Scottdale, John and Frank of Everson, Charles of Greensburg and Joseph of Baltimore, Md., and one sister, Mrs. Anna M. Ansell of Scottdale.
The body has been taken to the Ferguson funeral home, Requiem mass will be celebrate at St. John's R. C. Church at Scottdale at 8 o'clock Wednesday morning. Interment will be in the church cemetery.

Personal note. the obit does have Miss Emma plus the date 29 is hard to read I can see the 2 but not sure what the last number is
