My ancestry line is from Chesley John Bennett, Abner's brother. I am one of 12 children and my wife and I are trying to make a book for everyone for Christmas this year. We all know hardly anything about the Bennett side due to not having any contact with my father for many many years. He was an only child and divorced from my mother. He died about a year ago. Were there any picture in the book your great aunt made? I have 2 pictures of my grandparents when they were young and none of anyone else on the Bennett side. We are happy for any information you have and would like to share with us. Thanks.
Hi Darres. This grave and memorial are my great great grandfather. You have actual birth and death dates listed on this memorial and I was wondering if you could tell me where you got them from. Thanks. Rich Bennett

No worries! Thanks so much!

You left a photo on one of my memorials that I believe is in error. The headstone belongs to Mr. Harold W Kirkpatrick rather than Harold L and has different dates. It doesn't appear that I have the ability as the memorial manager to remove your photo. Would you mind going to the memorial and removing it?
Thanks so much for all your work on this cemetery! My favorite part of Find-a-Grave is all the volunteer work that makes it possible.

Darres, no problem in sharing. The only source still on the web that is fairly good with early Shepherd data is: www.danielprophecy.com/johnsr.html
This is the only place that I could find any mention of when Sarah may have died. Check the part about John Shepherd, Sr.
John and Sarah are my 5th greats.
Should you ever run across anything more accurate as to her death date, please let me know.

Darres, thanks for alerting me that her death date as shown cannot be correct. I have removed the date. With some research, have found that she may have died about 1816. Louise Taraba

Thanks for transferring these memorials to me. I appreciate all the work you put into these memorials.

I do and I almost sent the info to you, but I think I just submitted an edit request to link them or his brother (I've already forgotten) and so it won't probably let you do it, I am just re-familiarizing myself with this line again this morning. Let me go back and write down some info and get back to you. Contact me again if I forget, lol.
