|I am doing my family genealogy, and I wanted a headstone picture of a past relative killed, by friendly fire, during the civil war.|
My interest grew, and now I take pictures and create memorials myself.
I've now been a graver for more than three years, and I enjoy it as much now as I did when I started. I truly enjoy getting those photo's for other's who could not, because I now know first hand how it feels to finally have a much wanted photo of that loved one lost.
If you'd like a transfer of a memorial I've created, just ask. If it's my family, it may be difficult but not impossible.
I send a personal thankyou to all of my fellow gravers. Keep up the good work.

Thank you for taking the time to photograph the tombstone. Yes it is difficult to make out the inscription.

Thank you for adding the Charles Sherman stone photo to his memorial. Odd that the library wouldn't have the location when there is a stone. I have added Mary Sherman's DC copy to her memorial and it clearly says burial in Elkland. Are there no cemetery records to indicate locations for those earlier burials?

Dear Mr. Cross,
Thank you so much for taking a photo of the grave marker for this man. A small group of us are trying to make sure that every Michigan fireman who lost his life in a duty-death has a memorial at Find A Grave.Arthur Fitch was one of them, and your work has made his memorial complete. I appreciate the time and effort you took to help us.

Thank you so much for you time and effort in obtaining this photo for me. It is so appreciated.
Might I be able to use it in my family tree, with appropriate credit given to you?
Thank you again!

That ok - you took the time to get the photo and I have not connection to the person. I'm happy you are willing to keep it. Thanks for your work.
