|I am very interested in the early history of the industrial cities of Paterson and Newark, New Jersey.|
My ancestors were silk manufacturers in Paterson, New Jersey, and in Macclesfield, Cheshire, England during the 19th and 20th centuries.
Please feel free to use photographs or information if it is to benefit your family research. A credit to the "Friends of Cedar Lawn Cemetery" is a courteous and much appreciated gesture, but is not required if you plan to use any of the information and/or photographs.
It is my desire to transfer all memorials of those I entered in Cedar Lawn and Mount Pleasant Cemetery to their descendants and all those doing their family genealogy. I am glad to transfer memorials to any family members or descendants who request regardless of the general transfer guidelines.

|Joan B||Masker Plot|
Thanks for all the great work you all are doing with Cedar Lawn Cemetery in Paterson.
I have a question about the Masker plot. I am performing research for a Masker descendent. The entry for Eliza Robinson (Unknown- July 1895) states that 14 family members are buried in the Masker plot with only having a headstone (Hester Priestly). Would you happen to have a list of the other persons buried on this plot?

Hello. It looks like you are working in this family today as I am. Have you found the resting place of John's spouse, Mary or Mirian WHITE?

I solved the mystery. There is another Elizabeth A. Thompson King, wife of Henry B. King, who is also burried in Cedar Lawn Cemetery. The date of death matches her information so I moved the obit to her memorial (#93115611)
This Elizabeth King was married to James, as stated on the monument. I linked her to her husband and children based on the information on the marker.
Thank you for catching this error! Glad to fix it.
