Bio and Links
Bio Photo I've been researching my family history since I was 11 years old. I stumbled onto this site about 2003 & have been using it ever since. Through the 'Photo Request' feature I've been able to see headstones of so many family members that are buried in places I cannot visit & am eternally grateful to those people who offered to help me. I am also a photo volunteer and I photograph with a 10MP Nikon P7000. I've spent a lot of time working hand-in-hand with my distant cousin, Joanne Wilson, who I met through our mutual interest in the Westdijk branch.

I am interested in the following surnames:

Adams, Barbara, Carlini, Carlino, Esters, Faulkner, Iannacchione (derivatives include Tannachion and Tannacchione), Kleijn, Labate, Lombardi, Martinelli, Meijer (Meyer), Mulder, Palumbo, Paul, Pellegrini, Pricken, Riley, Roberts, Rogers, Rosselli, Rotola, Scozzari, Spoto, Tanis, Verduin, Ver Hoeve & Westdijk (Derivatives include Westdyke, Westdyk, Wasdyke and Wasdyk).

I did not get a close up of the photos on the tombstone but I am only 2 miles from the cemetery. I will get them the next time I go to Monongahela, it might take a while, I will add them to the memorials when I get them and you can lift them from there. I actually finished photgraphing the entire cemetery last year but is slow going trying to get all the photos on line there are more than 30,000 people buried there.

your Patrick Conway request
Hi Michael
I was attempting to fulfill your request for a picture of the grave of Patrick Conway 1838-1919 in St. Patrick's Cemetery in Southold, NY.
I walked the entire cemetery and when I couldn't find him I called the parish office. A gentleman in the office (Tom)was trying to be helpful, looking at all the deeds and entries he could locate, but there was no Patrick Conway. There was a Thomas, Joseph...and one other that slips my mind, but nothing for Patrick. Is It is possible that Patrick was related to one of those other Conways? His name could be on a stone with another person or,
It is possible that the stone is no longer legible or has decayed.--

The gentleman from the church is turning his search over to someone who he feels is more knowledgeable about the cemetery (Jim)and he will call me tomorrow.

In the meanwhile if you know of any connection to the above named Conways, or if perhaps a deed was bought under the name of someone else, that would be helpful.

Hope to be able to fulfill your request ASAP

Best Regards,
Marie Lanier

RE: John Hendrix / Laurel Grove
This grave site was added from an OBIT therefore I do not know where the location is. The ones I add with photos I do add the section location so they can be found again. I also add the section if I later add a photo. I have not been able to get to photograph stones in some time and have no idea when I will be able to get back to it. My suggestion on getting the location is to go in and ask. Some of the persons are more helpful than others. Maybe go near the anniversary of the death and say you have flowers for the site.

Zillessen
Mike: You have a picture for Ernest Zillessen and his wife Eleanor Hagerty and you have it labeled that it's from Calvary Cemetery in Paterson. I phoned them and they said these people are not there. Could you please check and let us know if you have any other information on this. Thanks
