I have always been interested in the old gravestones at the Egg Harbor City Cemetery and enjoy recording and photographing them for future generations. I think this project I've undertaken is a very important part of the city's history & beneficial to those searching their family heritage. Little did I know it would become a very inspiring hobby. I am also in the process of researching my mother's family history, but with not much success at the current time. I enjoy photography, reading, baking, scrapbooking and bead crafts (when I have time!) & spending time with my family & my rescue beagle, Shiloh.|

Hi Kathleen Stadtmuller-Gad,
Is it possible you could transfer the above two people, my 3-greats-grandparents please. If you go to their daughter, Jennie Gertrude Scherff Robbins , Birth: Jun. 18, 1884 Atlantic City Atlantic County
New Jersey, USA Death: Aug. 26, 1978 Haddon Heights Camden County New Jersey, USA Find A Grave Memorial# 118349549 you will see 3 photos I added including one of me as a baby on her 90th birthday. Thank you in advance. This would mean a lot to me as I have recently gotten in touch with more family & plan on adding a lot more descendants & linking them also along with editing a lot more information.

Thanks for your work documenting cemeteries. It is really helpful & important to those of us trying to pull the pieces together.
The original name of the cemetery where Sylvester Riley PRICE is buried is Wesleyan African Church Cemetery. Recent burials indicate the church and cemetery were later used by Pentecostals. The church site is in the Springtown section of Greenwich Township, Cumberland County on Sheppards Mill Rd. Mt. Pleasants Othello Cemetery is an entirely different cemetery not far away. Hope this helps.
|William R. Kelly||George Mueller|
I have been trying to find the grave of my great grandfather, George Mueller for quite a long time. As far as I know, he was born in Germany in 1833 and died on March 21, 1876. His wife was Christine Mueller and I believe she is buried in the Egg Harbor Cemetery, Find a Grave Id 62588128. They came from Germany separately around 1853 or 1854 and he may have served in the Union Army during the Civil War. I attached a bio to her site which describes this. George was mayor of Egg Harbor and I believe played in the Egg Harbor City Band. Also We believe he was a cigar maker there. His son, Charles Mueller who died in 1921 was my grandfather. Is there a way you can assist on finding George?
I contacted the County but they did not have a record of his death certificate.

Hi Kathleen. I was wondering if there was a way to add the wives of these soldiers to the page.... They are buried there in unmarked graves. I am working on getting all of the names and can let you know when I do....

I just came across yours, Dennis & Mark's spreadsheet for EHC Cemetery and the work you all have done to get the older and unmarked graves on Find A Grave. I want to tell you, THANK-YOU from the bottom of my heart. If it had not been for you I never would have known where my Great Grandmother was buried. I was just now able to go to the spreadsheet and click on the section you listed on her memorial and see all the others also in her same section. I could tell from your work that they were all buried the same month and same year as her. All I had was a date from Social security and her name and it was your spreadsheet that confirmed I have the right person. This is incredible work and a huge amount of time you all have put into this so Thanks again!! Kelly K

My gggrandfather was Pvt. Charles M Vanaman, a NJ Civil War soldier. I have receipts where he was buried in Mt Pleasant Cemetery, Millville, Cumberland Co. NJ. The receipts are for a monument stone that was ordered and delivered for him to that cemetery. When I checked the Find A Grave site, there is no listing for him. I saw where you had put the cemetery photo on the site and have an interest in local veterans. I was wondering if you could help me get a photo of his grave. I made a request using the regular form in October, but no luck yet.
I have sent photos of the receipts to your email.
Thank you for listening.

I have been searching for my husband's mother for over 20 years and you have found her! They were separated when he was a small child, and we knew she lived in New Jersey, Camden area, but did not know when she died or was buried. Thank you so much!!! Now we can request a death certificate and get much more information. Do you possibly have a picture of her grave? What would you charge for this picture?
