Going forward, unless there is a compelling reason, I will only transfer listings of people someone knew closely, i.e. parent, child or close friend. I'm sorry, but someone who died 200 years ago could be related to thousands of people. I prefer you add one of my listings under your umbrella using the virtual cemetery feature at Find A Grave. If you have additional information, I will happily add it and list you as the contributor.

Also, please do not ask me add an obituary to a person's memorial. see Find A Grave policy below:

Can I add an obituary to my interment listing?
It is best to not copy obituary notices from newspapers to an individual's memorial record unless you have permission from the newspaper to do so. In general, obituaries in newspapers are submitted by the family. If the obituary is added to the memorial record, it should list the newspaper and date the obit was printed. Find A Grave reserves the right to remove obituary notices from memorial records.
Obituaries for "famous" individuals are usually written by newspaper staff and can not be posted to Find A Grave.
Please do not include website addresses that may be listed in the obituary as they usually expire within a year after the obituary is printed.

Hedy M. Weis Geasa
Rich: You created a memorial for Hedy M. Weis Geasa (Memorial# 22722481). But you have her listed in New St. Raymond's Cemetery, which is not correct. I created a memorial for her in Old St. Raymond's. If you'd like to correct this, I'll take mine down or transfer mine to you. Whichever is easier.

Thank you
Hi Rich, thanks for posting my great-great grandmother's grave! I am looking for her mother's grave. Maria Hopper Mabie. Last residence was in Paterson NJ around 1895 according to a state census. Anyway - you haven't got Maria listed as Laura Barton's mother so perhaps you could add it to the listing? Her birth date was October 18, 1822...and she was married to Cornelius Mabie in 1843 in NYC, lived in NJ, widowed in Paterson. The my trail goes cold.

Amos Schuyler

Rich,
I am writing on a book about the Civil War and have researched the time of Amos Schuylers enlistment in the Union Army. I am very interested in any photo of Amos, also the one on his site in good quality. Any informations are welcome.

Best, Marc
