First, I want to thank you for the beautiful photos you took of Sarah's headstone. She was my 1st cousin, 10x removed! I'm sure you are familiar with her, because she is the granddaughter of Richard Warren, the Mayflower passenger, and I saw in your profile that you are also descended from him. I guess that makes us cousins of some degree!
I am also writing to ask for your permission to use your photos in my family tree. Of course, I would give you credit for them. I would love for my family to see them.
Thank you Caryn! I appreciate you adding the biography with references that I submitted for Elizabeth Tappan-Ruggles. Thank you for posting the beautiful headstone photos for the family as well. Your work is invaluable and greatly appreciated.
Got word from Plymouth a few weeks ago... my application for the Mayflower Society was approved! Joined under John Tilley... now have supps in for Joan, Elizabeth & John Howland... guess that officially makes us cousins! I descend thru John & Elizabethʻs daughters Desire & Hannah... Iʻm thrilled!
Thanks for Old Landing Cem. photos Caryn thank you for the Old Landing Cemetery photos, I lost all of mine traveling. Left my flash drive in airport and it was gone forever. Just hard to get up there to do all of the graves again, thankfully still had copies of Kinney's from Cushing Cemetery in Mattapoisett. Thank you for your hard work.
NATHANIEL CUSHING According to your memorial # 122575077 ON Nathaniel Cushing, he had three children, one of whom was Stephen Cushing (1749). Do you have reference / citation for that claim? I am trying to connect the two but have been unable to locate such. Your efforts are appreciated in advance.
Melora Fish Thanks, for the transfer, it is a dup and I will keep an eye on it so it gets merged correctly. Also, You had a memorial in woods hole for charity Burse that got merged incorrectly to an Oak grove Burse. 120306740. They were suppose to delete the Oak Grove memorial, it was the wrong one. If you want to remove your photo and save it till it gets corrected....it might be good, since you took the photo at old buring grounds and it should not be at Oak Grove. I have a correction request in to put it back to Old Burying ground under your id. I also saved the pic, so it doesn't get lost.
