Do It Now|
I expect to pass through this world
Any good thing, therefore, that I can do
or any kindness that I can show
to any fellow human being
let me do it now.
Let me not defer nor neglect it,
for I shall not pass this way again.
– Stephen Grellet
1773–1855, Quaker missionary
My motivation is to provide historical records to others. "Pay it forward." If what I've posted helps you in your genealogy or provides you some comfort because you can visit a grave from near or far, then my mission is accomplished and I urge you to help others in the same way.
PLEASE, consider sponsoring FindAGrave Memorials that are meaningful to you! Keep this website going!
If you have any add'l info or corrections on any of the memorials I have posted please use the "EDIT" tab on the memorial to send me a "correction or suggestion." I am most willing - and passionate - to make the memorials as detailed as possible and will create links to family and respond to requests for transfer of management promptly! I welcome your corrections and urge all findagrave contributors to share info; respond to updates and create links :) Again, please use the "EDIT" tab on the particular memorial(s) you are making reference to.
Upon my death I authorize any of my memorials to be transferred as they are requested.
[thanks to FAG Cathy Clark for this statement on her contributor page as this is my desire and agreement wholeheartedly - perfect and appropriate]

|Carol McCloud||Re: links to Samuel and Content Stockwell|
I have added the links to Samuel and Content (Walker) Stockwell as requested.
|Slowweb||RE: Harriet S Wood Wing|
I'm glad you found the information useful. In a field where data often times is variable, I'm as sure as I can be about this one. Parley/Perley Wood (Harriet's father) has a page-
It's her mother that apparently does not. Perhaps she is the broken stone next to Parley.
There's a rumor going around that Parley was born in Wilbraham (Hampden co.) about 1799 but I have no idea how anybody determined that. I can't find anything that points to it, other than 'several people say so.' :)

Not sure what you mean by auto edit? Do I need to type this information in? Sorry-a little dense this morning.

|barcpb61||Eliza Porter Guilford|
The only information I have that might be helpful to you is that C S Guilford (young Eliza's father) was appointed US Postmaster in Bloomfield Township, Walworth County, Wisconsin on 15 April 1846 - which would put them in Wisconsin at the time of young Eliza's birth. Cobblestone Cemetery is in Walworth County Wisconsin; it would make sense that the wife Eliza Porter would be buried there. Hope this helps.

|David Richardson||Huldah Bannister in Ashfield|
How did you come across Huldah beinig buried in Ashfield? I have been wondering about her whereabouts after Nathan died. Do you have any "proof" of a marriage record of some kind between her and Daniel Goddard? Is she buried by herself in the Plain Cemetery in Ashfield?
|Sue Williams||William Sibley|
I have linked his memorial to his parents as you suggested. Have also added the links to 2 of his siblings. Thank you!!!
I have made the corrections that you requested and added the info you provided as his biography. Let me know if you'd like him linked to anyone else or if there are any other corrections you would made.

Thanks for the year correction. I'm sure I read it from the stone instead of the record. Those old stones can fool. A 9 can look like a 0. Thanks for all your help always!
