Harlos Memorials
Thanks for the emails on Faith UCC. I got someone at Faith to look into the church books. They came up with a couple of records, one that indicated a Petri marriage occurring in Germantown to a Klumb (Courthouse records states it occurred in Wayne Township) and a daughter of this marriage that died in 1863 and presumeably buried in the cemetery. The Harlos deaths could have been there, but since they were not, the records and burials must be the St. John in Slinger not Section 31. Do you have any experience dealing with the Germantown church or Slinger church?

RE: St John's UCC Cemetery
Thanks for the effort. I am a bit fuzzy about this cemetery. I recall one of my relation went to it and it wasn't being taken care of (weeds and brush) and there weren't too many stones visible. Is that what you saw at the cemetery you went to. They lived around Ackerville in Polk Township so I don't know whether this is the right St. John's. Are you familiar with the cemeteries in the area?

If you'd like Barbara's memorial transferred to you, I'd be happy to do it.
