RE: Just a question
That is wonderful that you can add pictures to the memorials! Thank you for your efforts as it is appreciated. I know many of the people buried at Grant Cemetery as I grew up nearby.

Thank you
I want to thank you so very much for taking a photo of Mary Magdalena "Lena" Rink Long for me. I was so excited to see that see had a gravestone. By chance did you notice if her (family) husband and three kids where buried there with her? Again I want to thank you for taking the photo for me.

Charles A. Trimble was my great Grandpa John Guy Trimble's brother. I was wondering who the people are in that wonderful old picture you posted on your mother's memorial page. I assume one of them is your mother. Thanks!

RE: duplicate
Ruth Pickle told me yesterday that Find A Grave combined a Preservation Cemetery in Harrison County with the correct one in Monona County. As a result of doing this, duplicates were incurred. Apparently the Harrison County entries were the oldest and the original memorials, even though the cemetery was in the wrong county! (That explains why we didn't catch it I suppose.)

Anyway, I had to delete over 30 memorials that were far superior to the originals. It was too bad as others had done links, flowers, and photo's. When a duplicate gets deleted, everything is gone unless someone re-enters it again.

Rather than using the criteria of which memorial was first, I would rather have it as which memorial is most complete!

I realize Monona County has had a rough winter. Like here in Minnesota, the cemeteries are not walkable. Good luck this spring as snow melts and warm weather arrives.
