I have so much appreciation for all genealogists who have assisted me in my family research that I felt this was one small way of showing my gratitude and thanks. If I can take a photograph in my area, I will be happy to do so. Thank you to all those who belong to Find-A-Grave and who have done such a remarkable job of getting this site to the magnitude and importance that it has become to those of us searching for our long departed loved ones final resting place. The only photos I've added belong in my personal files.

Walnut Grove memorials
Hi Linda,

Let me start off saying that I'm sorry for the loss of your mother. There is a plot in her name for the Walnut Grove Cemetery in Paris, Missouri. There may or may not be a cenotaph for her there. It's not unusual for an individual to have a marker (cenotaph) in one cemetery, but their actual remains are buried in another. If there is a cenotaph in Walnut Grove my memorial page is valid, find-a-grave administrators can change it to a cenotaph. I'll definitely do what ever it takes to make it right. Either way I will be glad to transfer all my memorial pages that belong to your family to you, they should be in your care and not mine.

Mary Hume #138859735
Hi Linda,

You had left a message for me that you could not locate the grave of Mary Hume in Walnut Grove Cemetery in Paris, Missouri. I looked and found her and her husband, William Hume, listed in the directory for the cemetery. The plots are listed as D-286 & D-287 in Walnut Grove. They did not have memorial pages on Find A Grave, so I started them and linked her to her parents as you requested. Hope this has helped you out, have a good day.

Arzelee Moore
So we are related by marriage. Arzelee's 2nd husband, Charles Hultgren (or Holtgren) was my gr.gr. uncle. If you happen to find any pics of him I am very interested. Brenda

RE: Clarcia Collins Carrigan Kilmer
i Linda,
Yes I am on Ancestry. My tree is Maheu/Young Tree and my email is rhinnogirl@charter.net
Do you have a copy of Clarica's headstone? I have one from a genealogy cousin but I haven't figured out how to post it yet. That's how I know she died in 1908. I know that Clarica married Solomon Kilmer May 7, 1893, Solomon's second wife Ruth died March of 1892. SHe is listed as Carrigan on her marriage license so that must mean her first husband was before Carrigan. I found a marriage in Coles County Illinois to John Eskew on Apr 12, 1856 so it fits. What do you think? I'll be happy to send a copy of Solomon's Civil War records that mention her. I think I also have a copy of the marriage record for Sol and Clarica. If you want them let me know what your address is and I'll send. Hope this helps.

RE: Clarcia Collins Carrigan Kilmer
Hi Linda,
Clarcie was my ancestor Solomon Kilmer's third wife. I had a heck of a time finding more about her. I was going back through Solomon's civil war files and I found where it stated that Clarica had been married twice before. Her last husband was Luke Carrigan and I found them in the census with 5 children. I then found a marriage record for Luke Carrigan and a John Eskew. Do you know what her parents anmes were? I know she died in 1908 because that is what is on the tombstone. I'm happy to share any information I have.
